it might not seem like it, but xander is easily disturbed when he's in a bad mood. he's unpredictable in that sense but it doesn't come across considering most of the time he's seen with a smug expression as students run away from him. tonight is a bit of an exception though as most students focus on partying the night away and enjoying the festive activities set up by the school.

of course, xander's gotten his fair share of participating in the events too. not so much to enjoy them but to get his fill of terrorizing more students. there's not a more perfect night to scare off students when things are already spooky enough as is. but the enjoyment from those scares is wearing off and he's slipping into a bad mood again.

there are too many happy faces and he's it's putting him in a sour mood. so he's standing off to the side, silently brooding with a glare on his cold face as he's trying to decide what to do next. really, if anything he has no problem returning to his dorm for the night but there's no doubt that there are going to be students bringing to party back to the dorms as well and he 's sure he won't get away with hexing half the students in the dorms.

so with his back to the dungeon walls, he simply crosses his arm before glaring at any student who has the balls to look him in the eyes.

the entire night has been filled with life and intense energy as everyone celebrated the holiday together. there were both pros and cons to the entire event that the school decided to host and xander was still teetering between whether he really had an entertaining day or not.

there had been the entire mishap with the potion he received and he left poor mabel before he could see the full consequences of having drank it before seeing her. then there was milo who had been upset with his costume choice considering how welly matched the two could have been for the entire event. (it wasn't much a con - more annoyance - just the boy's usual whining in reaction to xander's coldness). but it would be a complete lie to say that he hadn't enjoyed some parts of the even like getting a reaction out of wednesday. even the carriage ride was a enjoyable despite it probably convincing everyone even more about rumors of xander and stephs's erotic relationship.

so although he wasn't exactly participating in watching the movies with everyone on the castle grounds, he was still close enough to see what was happening on screen the movie was being projected on while humoring himself in everyone's ridiculous reactions. there wasn't much that scared the dark wizard, so he found it silly that so many students actually got scared at the things on the screen. however, he had a much bigger plan that would truly evoke fear out of those enjoying the movies and was simply waiting for the right moment.

he's counting down the time until he casts a spell to summon spiders to infiltrate the crowd when he notices somebody getting closer to him. it looks like they've just left the movie. xander hasn't been paying much attention to what's been happening but he wouldn't blame the bloke if he was leaving because the movie was getting unbearable to watch. however, the expression on the male's face doesn't seem to be one of boredom or the same fear that xander's familiar with seeing on other's faces when it comes to scary movies.

it's sparks enough interest in him to question the student walking alone though, so he simply makes his presence known.

"you there. where are you headed to?"

the night is young and for some reason xander just can't find it in himself to give up on getting at least one peaceful carriage ride. of course he didn't mind the ride with natsuki and stephanie despite his first preference being to go alone. the second time around, he was hoping that toseong student - malia - would be smart enough to not talk to him. it almost seemed like the young girl was unfamiliar with who xander was with the way she had so cheerfully and sickeningly sweetly smiled at him though. it was enough to put him in a bad mood all over again.

after spending some time in the dimly lit dungeons though, he's headed towards the carriage ride again, slowly stalking over to the one that's just finished making it's trip around. there's a small group of underclassmen who are heading towards the carriage as well - obviously excited for the ride - however, as one of them turns to laugh at something their friend said, she spots xander and immediately stops in place. xander simply holds her terrified stare as he walks on ahead of them as her friends ask her what's wrong before spotting xander themselves. he can hear their whispers get a little louder in panic as they all shuffle backwards while xander heads straight to the student monitoring the carriage rides.

it's the same one who refused to let him ride alone the very first time. but xander's decided that there's not much the student can do if he gets into the carriage alone. not if they want to get hurt. so he simply ignores their statements of 'the rides are meant for two or more people' and goes straight to the open carriage. however, as soon as a hand lands on his arm to hold him back xander immediately pulls out his wand, pressing it against the student's shoulder.

he's about hex the student when he sees someone approaching them from the corner of his eye. the spell is hanging on the tip of his tongue but he holds back from unleashing it. as he continues to hold his wand against the innocent student, he turns to confirm that whoever's walked in on the scene isn't a staff member or a prefect.

"what do you want?"  xander growls out loud as his grip on the student beneath him tightens.

mirror maze with @msukiyoung​

taejun is sure it's been more than ten minutes now that he's been stuck in the mirror maze. if anything really, he knows he's clumsy enough to probably fall off the walls and his only hope is that none of the sticky charms wear off before he finds the exit. considering that he's also lost in there with kiyoung... it seems like the boys don't have much hope of getting out any time soon.

as he turns to look around again, taejun can't help but sigh at how hopeless it is. everywhere he turns it's just spiderman.

"kiyoung! did you find the exit yet?" taejun decides to shout out loud as he takes a right turn, and then a left and then another right before he's met with a dead end. there's music playing in the area so it makes it a bit hard to communicate, but doesn't stop him from attempting before he beings to climb.

an inaudible sigh escapes his lips as he realizes that maybe the pair having matching costumes for the maze was actually kind of a perfect coincidence. spiderman crawling up the walls... it was definitely bringing out the super in superhero. but he was also sure that on numerous times he was seeing kiyoung's reflections and not his own.

"are you talking or am i hearing things?" taejun shouts again after a moment as he pauses halfway up the wall he's scaling. he's not sure if it's the music in the background or if sir hendrick is trying to add more spook to the challenge... but upon remembering sir hendrick is drifting around the maze somewhere, he accepts that that might be their ticket out.
