I love being a para-equestrian. I’m proud to be one. I get to show others that people with disabilities are not mindless vegetables and that we are strong. Every time I’m on a horse I light up (whether it shows on my face or not 😂). I love what I do. I am definitely not the richest person in the sport, but I am rich in spirit and heart. I give 100% every lesson. The horses I ride mean everything to me. I have people who truly love and support me (both here and irl). I am growing and learning every day. I put my heart out in the arena. When I’m with horses, I am the best possible version of myself. . This is a bit of an earlier post this week because I am competing in the @mswheelchairfloridainc pageant this weekend to compete to be the state and possibly national advocate for people with disabilities and raise awareness about the benefits of equine assisted therapy for individuals with disabilities.
