matthiasfrost The volcano in front is Mt Tongariro but if you look at the one behind and to the left that is Mt Doom! (Mt Nguaruhoe). Unfortunately I never got to see the entire volcano. It was always shrouded in the clouds.

My walk to Mt. Doom updated with this weeks information. Over 7 of the 22 miles now completed. Buck land here I come.
