Aboldon, Line Breaker

A first draft at a 4-color commander. I’m sure it’s a little overpowered, and will probably strip off the last ability, but I thought I’d put it out here for you guys to look at.

When designing this, I thought a lot about what the four colors did the same, and ultimately settled with a voltron approach to a commander.

Aboldon, Line Breaker 3GWUB Legendary Creature- Insect Beast

First strike, trample When ~ enters the battlefield, you may search your library for an Equipment card and put it into the battlefield. If you do, attach it to ~. Whenever ~ deals combat damage to an opponent, put that many 1/1 green insect tokens onto the battlefield. Whenever a creature dealt damage by ~ this turn dies, put X +1/+1 counters on ~ and you gain X life, where X is the toughness of that creature.

EDIT: Apparently tired me forgot that "Breaker of Armies" is a card and that I should avoid giving things titles that are also names. Fixed that.

Original card by Reddit User Stanggtwin, It’s a really good design, so I tried to make a Grixis version of it.

Both of it’s effects can be done in blue, while the second one can be done in red, and if you entwine it, it in essence lets you kill 2 things which is the black part :D
