Im kind of irritated that it took 19 years to return to Lorwyn and we get like a month of playing it limited. Literally a 'fuck you for wanting shit play Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles instead.' Oh you havent really played limited since Edge of Eternities in August because Universes Beyond doesnt appeal to you? You get a month to play this limited format and then you need to wait until April for another in universe set.
Listen, I'm not here to kick over sand castles if you like Universes Beyond. But at least make the releases every other release or evenly spaced (or Serra forbid, release less sets then 7 in a year). Spiderman was a dogshit limited environment and it was one of the longest of the year. TNMT looks like more of Spiderman so far. At least Avatar seemed properly balanced, but with the holiday most barely got to play it.

tfw you rush a set to market after cramming a bunch of hastily designed cards into it so you can kinda draft it
With Spider-Man previews starting, now seems like a good time to remind the MTG community that Marvel is under PACBI/BDS boycott.
