Well strap in for some rambling and sneak peek snippets! 😆😆😆

1. 3+1 - Stiles' Toiletries

This is a fic that involves creeper Derek sneaking into the Stilinski house to change Stiles' toiletries back when he starts using different ones because he doesn't like that it changes Stiles' scent. One involves Stiles' dad buying different shampoo because the store was out of their usual so Derek buys it elsewhere to replace it, and another has Stiles buying a different scent of shower gel because he wants to try it out and Derek's not having any of it 😆 I think the third one will involve Derek changing their washing detergent to the one he uses because it's the one his mom always used to use so it smells like home T^T

It takes Stiles a while to realise what's going on though!

You'd think this would write itself considering the idea is so strong, but I'm struggling!

Here's a snippet of a scene that I really like though (and behold the absolute mess that is my fill-in-the-blanks writing style 😅 All of my docs look like this lol):

It shouldn’t be such a _____ experience to encounter Derek Hale with a shopping basket in the cereal aisle, but it is. Of all things, he’s glaring down at a box of Cookie Crisp in his hand, _____ the image of the purple-nosed wolf mascot licking his chops with two spoons in hand.

“You’ve got to be joking,” Stiles says, loudly, and Derek shoots him a glare.

“It’s not for me,” he growls, stuffing the box face down in his basket and scowling harder when it just reveals the wolf mascot on the back of the box howling the word Cookie.

“So the Sourwolf’s got a sweet tooth.”

7. Confident Stiles home from college

This one might end up as a 5+1 too, but I'm not sure because I only have an idea for one scene. Basically, I wanted Stiles to come back from college after having ~experimented~ and be totally at ease in his own body. So, much like how we imagine there to be a lot of nudity amongst the werewolves - particularly with Derek if he has the full shift - I wanted Stiles to get in on that a little too.

Cue him being home and Derek climbing in through his window one weekend morning for help with some research, and Stiles climbs out of bed naked without a care in the world, pulling on some sweats. He gets to work on his laptop and Derek trips out the window in his haste to leave, his world turned upside down.

......And that's all I have for that one haha

10. 5 times people tell Stiles Derek is out of his league and 1 time he says “You know what? Fuck you.”

This fic was like 80% finished, but then I decided I didn't like it and a lot needed to be scrapped so I shelved it, and looking at the dates, that was apparently back at the end of 2016!

It involves Derek moving to town to work as a Deputy when Stiles is an adult (Human AU) and Stiles immediately crushing and having people tell him not to bother. The different '5 times' were things like his dad saying "You sure know how to pick 'em", referencing his Lydia crush from school, shop assistants commiserating with Stiles that they don't have a chance with someone like Derek, and even Laura wanting to protect Derek from people who are only after him because of his looks/money.

It was supposed to be focused on Stiles, but then Derek's backstory became that Kate used him for years for his wealth to get her modelling career started before kicking him to the curb, and Derek being all solitary and drinking alone and being angsty and broken-hearted, and it just changed the tone of it all for the bad. I'm no longer sure how to bring it back to where I wanted it haha

Here's a part of the tentative +1 though where Stiles storms into the Sheriff station to confront Derek:

“You know what? Yes. Yes, I am asking you on a date. Everyone keeps acting like you're some sort of god with your movie star good looks and _________ - and maybe you kind of are,” he says, drawing back slightly to frown at his ________, until his anger flares bright again. “But I'm sick of being told I'm a lowly mortal that will just get dashed to pieces on your cheekbones!” Cheekbones now accented by a pretty pink flush spreading to the tips of his ears. “You _______ and ______ and you get giddy over marshmallows because you are one.” “And if you're deserving of only the best, why aren't I?”

“You are.”

“Yeah, I am!” Stiles’ breath catches and he stares at Derek climbing to his feet. “I am?”

“I don't where you got the idea that I'm-” waves hand like he's too embarrassed to voice the praise Stiles did. “-anything more than human but-”

*insert the rest here that I haven't written and maybe a kiss* And then Stiles' dad says:

“Okay, son. Congratulations. Now let my deputy get back to work.”

And that's all I've got 😄

Now that I've put these ideas out into the open, you'll have to see how long it takes me to actually get to them haha

I realized I don't think I've asked you this before since I've been on the fence about it... but could I post what I have so far... eventually? Somewhere down the line when I have more chapters completed? I am like... 45% through it.

Another fic that I can only vaguely remember the details of. I hope someone recognizes it. Werewolves growls all have different meanings. Some generic ones everyone can understand. But some growls you have to know the wolf really well to know what that growl means. Derek has this growl that Stiles doesn't know the meaning of.

Can anyone help with this fic?
