Post-flight joy level 5,000,000!!! I’ll share more photos over the next few days (or years probably). This experience feels very sacred to me and I’m so thankful I get to have this memory! 🗺 #DenaliAir #Denali #DenaliNationalPark #MtMcKinley (at Denali Air Flightseeing Tours)

Denali Well, one of them is, anyway. The one on the left in the two-shots. These are much improved over anything I've been able to get so far, thanks to a clear day and using infrared. A long way from my first attempt where I had to use digital enhancements. I'm not sure what the other mountain is. It almost looks bigger than Denali, but it must be closer. Of course, I could have it all wrong. #sonydscf828 #sonydsc #sonycybershot #SonyCameras #mtmckinley #denali #Ir #infrared #irphotography #infraredphotography #nikiskialaska #nikiski #osk #oskdock #arnessdock #alaska #alaskaininfrared #alaskainir #alaskaphotography #nikishkabeach #nikishkabeachroad (at Osk Dock) https://www.instagram.com/gmessy30/p/CXEuJPAPsnI/?utm_medium=tumblr

Denali. Inspired by an original photograph taken by Joseph H. McGee. 18" x 24", pastel & coloured pencil, 1994.
“There is little to offer visitors who need attendants to keep them comfortable, who think of walking in terms of cement and board paths, riding in terms of cushioned motor cars...but there is much to offer those who understand the language of great silent places.” — Harry Karstens // 🗻 #DenaliNationalPark #Denali #MtMcKinley #DenaliAir (at Denali National Park & Preserve)
