"Bloody hell, what was in that drink? I feel invincible."
"I just can't help that all I see in this room are people I'll destroy in Quidditch. I'm just going to keep drinking."
Rodolphus had always been someone who could handle his alcohol, and after his very interesting encounter with Bellatrix, he'd gone back to drinking. Then, he'd proceeded to drink more and then some more, on top of that. He was feeling quite drunk, and then the room started to spin, but he regained some focus. Upon opening his eyes, he saw someone in front of them and they definitely looked really interesting. He finally decided to speak. "Has anyone ever told you just how beautiful you are? I've spent my whole life searching for someone like you."
"This ball is as bad as I think and the drinks taste really odd."
Acceptance - Isa+Narcissa
Isa glanced across the room, seeing if there was anybody she recognised. There was, of course there was, but nobody she was friends with. Her glance fell on a certain blonde Slytherin, and she smiled. She had recently found out about this certain blonde Slytherin's newfound relationship. Of course, she wouldn't say anything to be cruel to the girl, but teasing would be fun, especially now that Narcissa's entire reputation was in her hands. She had never felt so important before.
She walked over to the girl, smiling brightly. "Enjoying the party?" She asked, expecting the answer before it came. She wasn't sure if Narcissa knew that she knew, but she imagined she did. "Did you bring Lucius?" She asked, already feeling bad for how the girl might feel. "Or- someone else?"
Vixen on Valentine's
It's not as if she made official plans to attend this sham of a ball. Rodolphus would never stoop so low to invite her such an atrocity. But she was curious to see what mischief could be had. If anything, a ball centred around romance and intrigue could certainly lead to some fools saying things to implicate themselves. Someone might spill something useful to the cause. Not to mention, if the talk of Rita Skeeter and secrets being revealed are to be believed, surely it will be worthwhile to make an appearance and see what damage befalls the sorry souls caught in the crossfire.
That how Bellatrix found herself strapped in a black slim number at the Valentine's Ball. If there's one thing she was raised to do right, it's how to dress to impress for balls and galas. No matter how she abhors them.
"Do I look like the dancing type? I'm over here dancing with my drink."
