M!A Fobwatched. 18 hours.

He blinked and jerked a hand towards a pocket out of some reflex. He didn't know where he was, or really what he was supposed to be doing. His name was John Smith... that much he knew. What a general sort of name, but it rang solid and familiar. He didn't doubt that much was true.

John turned about with dazed confusion. There had been a girl somewhere. He needed to find her. "Peri?" Mm, no. That tasted wrong somehow.

His fingers curled around a handful of objects in his pocket and shuffled through them eagerly-- a worthless, broken watch, a key that didn't go to anything, a few assorted coins. His hope died with that handful of junk, and he re-pocketed it and struck off whistling.
