About Edward Scissorhands...
So I just watched Edward Scissorhands with my girl, and I’ll have to say it left me very unsatisfied with the ending. So hear me out.
The little girl getting told the story grows up and becomes a prostethics master. She earns a ton of money and spends her free time engineering a pair of hands that will work for Edward. She then goes to the mansion on the hill and meets Edward herself, and introduces herself as Kim’s granddaughter and says she’s come to help him. Edward gets his hands and she teaches him how to use his new hands to do hair like he used to and buys him a barber shop. He opens a successful barber shop and becomes loves by the community. And then, best yet, Kim’s granddaughter realizes he doesn’t age and finds the blueprints for his design and creates a female for him so that he won’t have to stay young while the person he loves grows old. They fall in love, rebuild the mansion and clean it up real nice, and open it up for visitors to the expertly coiffed garden. It becomes a landmark for all to see. And soon Edward is friends with all the neighbors and is loved by all. And so is his robo wife. And maybe something about adopting and raising children. Or maybe a mini Edward and edwina. Idk, but something to do with kids.
