Hash Brown Egg Nests are a delightful breakfast option, combining crispy hash browns, gooey cheese, and perfectly cooked eggs in a convenient muffin tin. They make for a visually appealing and delicious morning meal that will surely impress your family and guests.
Ingredients: 2 cups frozen hash browns. 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese. 4 large eggs. Salt and pepper to taste. Cooking spray or butter for greasing. Chopped fresh chives for garnish optional.
Instructions: Turn on your oven and heat it up to 375F 190C. Use cooking spray or butter to grease a muffin tin all the way through. Spread the frozen hash browns out evenly in the muffin tins and press them down to make nests. Shred some cheddar cheese and put it on top of the hash brown nests. Be careful not to break the yolk when you crack an egg into each hash brown nest. Add a little salt and pepper to each egg. Place the eggs in an oven that has already been heated. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the egg whites are set and the yolks are still a little runny, or until they are done the way you like them. Use a spoon or fork to take the hash brown egg nests out of the muffin tin. If you want, you can add chopped fresh chives as a garnish. Enjoy your tasty Hash Brown Egg Nests while they're still hot!
