Chaotic TCG Elemental Emperors
A while ago I developed an idea of a storyline to lead the City of Kaizeph in referencing the fourth expansion of the City of Elements, the Elemental Emperors. Not much was discussed of the Elemental Emperors prior to Chaotic entering its long running legal troubles: they were said to have supplied Elmantiir for Intress in her time of need, and their throne room in Kaizeph was described in The M’arrillian Chronicles: The Khilaian Sphere.
My idea was to base the four Elemental Emperors off of the four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, with the Emperors being depicted as the villains of this arc, being sought out by their Elemental Servants Unda, Seeryn, Nom, and Silv, who were initially portrayed as helping the Tribes, in order to bring about the destruction of Perim. The true nature of their endeavors would be to restore the world to its former glory before the Emperors were removed from power prior to the M’arrillian attack on Kaizeph. So anyway, here were some of my ideas:
The Emperor of Fire, representing Famine, would be an UnderWorlder, with Fire 10 and Earthproof 10 - additionally, the Emperor of Fire feeds on Energy, and every time Fire damage is dealt he heals 5 damage, while also cutting off engaged enemies from outside forms of aid, including restoration Mugic or support abilities.
The Emperor of Earth, representing Pestilence, would be a Danian, with Earth 10 and Waterproof 10, while bearing an ability called “Quake”, causing the Location to change every other turn; additionally, at the beginning of combat every Creature in play is infected, and Creatures Infected in the opposing Army will be dealt an additional 5 damage every turn to represent their inner sickness eating away at them until they succumb, while said Infection cannot be removed so long as the Emperor of Earth is on the field.
The Emperor of Water, representing War, would be an OverWorlder with Water 10, Fireproof 10, and Fluidmorph; by giving up a Mugic counter, this Creature would be able to provide of disable the Water Element on target Creature, and for each additional Creature with Water adjacent to this Creature, each Attack deals an additional 5 damage. This would make the Creature a vicious challenge due to the chaining of Water Attacks and Fluidmorph with its ability, but this could also be used as a detriment depending on whether or not their opponent was prepared to fight with Water as well.
Finally, the Emperor of Air, representing Death, would be a Mipedian with Air 10, Waterproof 10, and Invisibility: Strike 10, while being capable of sacrificing Creatures in order to inflict 10 damage and drawing upon the Creatures in both players’ discard piles to increase its Disciplines
As an aside, I’d also been developing ideas for the expansion of the Frozen, believing that the Frozen are the 6th Tribe that was spoken of rather than the SpiritLanders - thinking of them more as ghosts of the Tribes. The idea would be that the Frozen were essentially Native American art come to life, and would be proficient with Mugic - I’d have had Maxxor and Hinya-Iha, the leader of the Frozen, have a past relationship together, with Hinya-Iha having saved Maxxor’s life and his purple tattoos being the result of her healing powers . I also tossed around the idea of Maxxor having a long lost child who’d grown up alongside the Frozen and Hinya-Iha, developed a design for Hinya-Iha, and created an ability for the Frozen called Hypnothermia, which slowly freezes both the body and mind by depleting the Disciplines.
