As the United States becomes a third world country (political assassinations are a hallmark of third world countries), I wonder whether our National and State Parks may one day be adversely affected.
Currently, our National Parks and Monuments are easy to enjoy because they are accessible (infrastructure is in place and in good working order, there is safety/security, etc.).
In other countries things aren’t always like that. There may be bad roads (or no roads) to a tourist site. In extreme cases there may be swindlers or gang members (or even government officials) hanging out at tourists sites, harassing or trying to extort money from tourists.
The result is that fewer people are able to enjoy what their country has to offer.
I see what is happening in Colorado, where gang members from south america (who are here illegally) have taken over a few apartment buildings and are threatening the tenants, meanwhile the local government does nothing about it. While the U. S. government tries to limit the second amendment rights of its citizens, non-citizens are allowed to walk around with semi-automatic rifles.
Most people sadly don’t care, either because they already live in economically depressed areas (so it makes no difference to them if the rest of the country gets worse) or because they live in nice more affluent areas (where troublemakers are unable, financially, to gain a foothold in their neighborhoods) and are therefore are insulated from the negative impact of those who don’t respect our culture or way of life.
And when those who are concerned about the direction this country is headed voice their concerns, all they get is the usual pontification and ad hominem accusations of “bigotry” from the elitist snobs in the nice neighborhoods and the boors and oafs from the not-so-nice neighborhoods.
But whatever. It shouldn’t surprise me. If people don’t care what happens in their own backyard why would they care about some national park hundreds of miles away? I guess by that token why should I give a damn about “global warming” or whatever they call it now (climate change?). Sounds good to me. Have it your way, idiots. Keep the status quo.

Crazy internet troll has meltdown and blames little old me
Last month some stupid idiot decides to message me before daybreak and insult me over my posts which he claims he occasionally reads (I call BS on that) accusing me of ruining society with my political views (even though the vast majority of my tumblr posts are non-political). LOL.
He was so blinded by his prejudice against so-called “conservative views” that he couldn’t see his own hypocrisy (when it's actually HIS far-left views that are ruining society by not addressing immediate problems that everyday people face [I gave an example of Colorado gangs]). He apparently woke up with a bug up his butt and decided to randomly start an internet fight with someone, (i.e. me), which he admits, - but he calls me the “batshit crazy” one – LOL! Again, the pot calling the kettle black.
On top of that he uses bad grammar (stating “Like we used to rational debate in our parliament” – what does that mean? Did he mean 'we use to USE'?. He then proceeds to lecture me about not knowing how to use English idioms. LOL). If one reads my original post, it is logical and well-thought out (even if you disagree with it), using proper English (unlike his post).
He also proves my original post right (where I stated that the opposing side simply engages in ad hominem attacks whenever someone like me expresses our opinions). So all he does in his incoherent rant is end up proving my point.
When will these triggered snowflakes realize that in life not everyone will agree with you? Believe it or not there are actually people who think differently from how the mainstream media (CNN, MSNBC, UK Guardian, etc.) wants you to think. I know right? SHOCKER!

El mes pasado un retrasado mental decidio mandarme un mensaje en la madrugada y ultrajar me, acusando me de la destruccion de su sociedad con mis opiniones politicas (aun que la mayoria de mis ‘posts’ no tienen nada que ver con cosas politicas). No se donde vive este torpe, pero no vive in los Estados Unidos. Posiblemente Canada o Inglaterra. Pero no importa, es un tonto.
En realidad, este hypocrito es el que aruina la Sociedad con sus ideas extremas izquierdistas (yo di el ejemplo de las pandillas en el estado de Colorado). Gente como el se preocupa de la clima mundial pero ignoran los problemas inmediatos (como crimen). Y el me llama el loco, aun que fue EL que decidio empesar pleito con una persona que ni conoce en el internet. JA! JA! JA!
A este infeliz estupido le han lavado el cerebro tanto, que cuando hay una persona que simplemente no esta de acuerdo con sus ideas, se ponen como agua para chocolate. Imaginesen, hay gente que piensan diferente que uno – NO ME DIGAS!!!!
Eso es lo que pasa cuando uno no piensa por si mismo, y en vez dejan que le digan los noticieros mentirosos como pensar. Que existencia tan triste.

Next person to tell me that a police officer should have shot somebody in the leg or arm and that would have stopped them, I propose an experiment. We go and get a paintball gun and put the same amount of ammo in it as the officers service weapon. I will stand the same distance the assailant was from said officer. Now here's the fun part. I will then proceed to run at you and you must aim at an extremity. If I reach you, I will punch you in the face for being such a fucking retard as to think it was tactically efficient to try hit a flailing extremity on a moving target. Fun fact: I'm going to punch you anyway. Bullets to an extremity are unlikely to phase an attacker who is high on adrenaline, and anything else his or her dumb ass might be on.
