This is what this transandrophobia discourse inevitably leads to, saying cis women have male privilege

Does male privilege even mean anything anymore? I was under the impression it meant cisgender men who fit and uphold society’s toxic and hegemonic masculinity and patriarchy, but now I guess it means anything to silence any gender minority you don’t like, whether it be trans men, trans women, or literal cisgender lesbians

Behind every gay/black/disabled/poor man, there is a gay/black/disabled/poor woman who is more oppressed and faces more discrimination than that man.

Misogyny is the one thing that unites men all over the world, an activity every man, no matter his race or class or sexuality or physical/mental ability, can partake in. Men are not oppressed on the basis of being men. Being part of a minority does not cancel out a man's ability to cause harm. Being a white straight rich woman also does not mean that woman is free from misogyny. A white straight rich man is safe and admired, while a white straight rich woman is still seen as property and a lying bitch and someone with too much privilege, someone who doesn't deserve her status. Men of any kind will group together to belittle this woman, and then they will go home and beat their wives or mothers or sisters or daughters because these men do not face any consequences for their behaviour.

Men are never oppressed on the basis of being male. Misandry is not real. Men can only extend their empathy to other men. Don't fight for "men's rights", they have too many as it is.

The thing is, even if a trans man passes 100% as cis and has fully medically transitioned and is as stealth as he possibly can be that doesn't erase his childhood. It doesn't erase the fact that for a lot of girl children their first instance of sexual harassment happens before the age of 14. Or the fact that no matter how young he came out for some part of his life he was being raised with the expectations of being a girl who would grow up into a woman. Denying a trans man that is an act of violence. We are not cis men. We do not have the same life experience or privileges as cis men. We can obtain a level of male privilege in adulthood by hiding who we are if we're lucky enough to pass perfectly and stay in the closet but it is materially not the same.

If any man sends you into this much of a rage then you shouldn't call yourself a feminist. Men exist and I'm sorry the patriarchy sucks but picking and choosing who you believe is hurt by it helps no one.

Men- cis, trans, perisex, intersex, poc, white- can be hurt by the patriarchy. The goal is to dismantle it so everyone is equal and can live a good life. If you think men shouldn't be included within that then you need to fix your thinking.

This is such typical male behavior for a male to do, expose himself. Isn’t it even a porn category? Exposition? That’s so clearly what was happening here, and these people can’t see past the end of their noses to recognize a pattern.
