I also think.. Calamity and Muiren
Muiren would be evil ))):
I put on the full armor of God and it gives me disadvantage on stealth checks
and š Muiren ofc..
Muiren is, currently, taking up the better part of a very small living area, seated on a couch made for trolls a quarter of his size. Which isn't to say much for his own size (truly, not so large compared to many others of his caste), so much as the small stature of the young man he's currently keeping company.
The hive in which he sits is one of those compact cabin homes, with everything within practical reach, decorated abundantly with dried flowers, herbs, charms made of bone and wire, and so many small ceramic bowls, cups, teapots, and other such things, one could mistake it as Muiren's own home if not for the fact that he doesn't seem to fit in it.
The young man it belongs to--a slender orange blood with large, sad eyes, unruly pale grey hair, and a number of bandages up and down his arms--stands over the counter, chattering happily away as he prepares tea for them both. Muiren watches him with open fondness, smiling when he replies.
Tomorrow he has to return to his duties, but for tonight he can spend some time catching up with the boy he raised from grubhood.
Muiren.. āļø
> Muiren is, shockingly, in attendance, though clearly not to his own benefit. His ball attire is elegant, but understated for a man of his caste and size; his signature cloak having been replaced with one similarly cut but made of more exquisite fabrics and patterns.
> He's being social enough to speak when approached, but it's obvious he's uncomfortable around so many people and wary of anyone who might recognize him.
> Instead, it seems he's focusing his attentions on hovering around one Thanat Lycaon, whose equal discomfort at being made to attend such a lively event seems to be taking precedent over his own.
reverend general revival is quite the mouthful. howd u get a title like that?
Ah. Well the military was a little different back in my... hay day. Less space faring more on world action. The various Churches of the Messiahs', such as they were, were much more involved in military and political affairs.
I was a Reverend in one such church, and served my post as a general in the military. The last bit has to do with my voodoos, which allow me to raise the dead, to an extent. They weren't alive, mind. Just grotesque puppets. A whole army's worth even.
It is not a time I think about fondly.
Muiren bravery also,

Oh and Muiren too pls.. š
> Muiren is seated on a blanket, a simple handmade thing, grey with thin strips of color spaced across it in a hatch. He fumbles absently with the fraying hem on one side, running the clumps of loose threads through his fingers; the simple act a minor betrayal of his anxiety, his relaxed posture a facade. He is, simply put, nervous.
> There is a small tray table on the blanket in front of him, laid with a delicate tea set (black with silver and purple flowers etched into the sides, chosen specifically for its owner to use during his visits), and mostly untouched sandwiches. The tea has long since cooled since they've set it out.
> He's watching his companion closely as they talk, looking for signs of discomfort, or that it's time to go inside. It isn't as if he doesn't like to be outside, of course, it was his idea to have the picnic, but Muiren does worry, as he always does, that he would put himself out to make someone else happy. Eating outside wouldn't exactly be a germaphobe's favorite activity.
> But the garden they're sitting in is beautiful, and the evening air is pleasant, and he can't help but wonder at his luck as he listens to his dear friend talk, watching him rub his thumb over the slender fingers of his other hand.
> He twists his own fingers in the fraying hem and thinks about how they might feel entwined with his own, and says nothing.
Send me š + a name for a peek into what that muse is doing in the moment! Alternatively, send in āpeekā with a name!
Heeyt Muiren. Soo. [Vague gesture] huh?
Ah, I will assume you are referring to Orfuse's arrival in Thanat's home.
I hesitate to call it overdue, as the man was well within his rights to take as much time as he needed away from Thanat, but I'm pleased this finally came to pass. And I will be giving them plenty of space to work out whatever needs to be worked out, I imagine Orfuse has some things he needs to get off his chest and I dread to overhear any of it by mistake.
It has been hard seeing him so strung out knowing neither I nor Reaper could do anything for him. It'll be good to see him truly happy for once.
