We are MUKT, a literary fusion-rock band who emphasizes on literature and spreading the untold stories of the poetas who lived with time and died in our ignorance. It all started in 2015, as a commercial boy band and then we are evolved into a respected literature fusion-rock band. We have performed around 25+ live shows around Gujarat. Deeper sincerity of motive, a greater courage in speech and earnest in action is what mukt is made of. Our work personifies our love or music and literature.
We are an independent band which gave us the freedom to explore music without any constraints. We are continuously experimenting with music and evolved with it. You can sense the scent of Hindustani emotional notes blended along the rebellious rock rifts in our music.
Our quest for great literature took us to various continents, introduced us to various poets, who intrigued us in their power of thoughts that are painted as poems and who left behind a literary legacy. We have been exposed to writing styles such as kaifi azmi’s tingle of dark comedy, Ibn-e-insha's unaltered thoughts of nomadism, and Saint Kabir ji's lessons of life. Their eminence commanded our attention and demanded our music to act as a stage. We breathe our music into these great words and let the words dance in ecstasy!!!
