But I would still consider these as references, because they have the same “parent”, who worked for both Capcom and Sega in different years of his career. But since we're talking about references in the games and novellas of these two great slash games, then we can add something else here: Tony Redgrave's son Luka mentions the names of his “girls” (but more likely pets): Trish, Claire, Ammy and Sylvia. All the names refer to the heroines of Hideki Kamiya's previous projects. Trish is from Devil May Cry, Claire is Chris' sister and the heroine of Resident Evil 2, Ammi is Amaterasu the she-wolf from Okami, Sylvia is Joe's girlfriend in Viewtiful Joe and the playable heroine in the sequel.
