Have you ever felt that sometimes, when you close your eyes,                        the world might not be the same when you open them again?

                                           DON’T BLINK               AN OPEN PANFANDOM ROLEPLAY GROUP

If you believe the old stories, the city of Conivere was created for the pleasure of the moon.  The sun had loved her dearly, but she had loved the stories of other worlds, the tales woven into things that captivated her.  Conivere was a lover’s gift to her, a chance for her to store her favorite stories and perhaps even find them new endings, the ones that she felt they deserved.

The story sounds ridiculous, to be certain... but it would explain why so many wake up in the Blink Center with no idea of how they arrived there, the gaps in memories for events and times that never happened to some, the way that no one can quite leave or die within the city.    But then, what of the endings you were promised?  They come and go so quickly in this world, so many chances from what there was originally.

Don’t blink... or you’ll miss them.

Hello everyone, and welcome to our very first event here at Blink!  We’re still getting our feet under us, naturally since we’re so young, but that’s no excuse for us to miss the upcoming event of Valentine’s Day!

Conivere, it seems, goes all out for the date, and even the moon herself takes an interest in the surroundings.  A small dropbox has appeared across the city overnight, asking for inhabitants to submit their names and partner preferences for Conivere’s annual Lovers’ Festival.  While it’s preferred that you submit your name and preference of your partner’s gender for a blind date, you may also submit a specific name if you would like a certain person to be matched with you instead!

With a variety of date options (all provided free by the city, of course), it’s a great way to meet new people, even if you may not click romantically.  Signups will be open from now until February 7th, at which point pairs (or more, if requested) will be posted with their designated date option.  From there, participants should reblog the original post, if only to make it easier to participate in the following extra.

As an added bonus, alongside the randomized dating option, couples will be given two numbers: if they can obtain the post or word count numbers before February 21st, the characters will be given a unique reward from the moon in honor of their happiness and to commemorate the date for their time in the city.

Be sure to put your name in because if you blink, it might just disappear!

ＷＥＬＣＯＭＥ ＴＯ ＫＯＮＴＥＳＵＴＯ

You opened your eyes to a small room. The room was rather simple, a bed which you lay on in the corner, and a dresser on the opposite side of the room. How odd, you thought, for you held no memory of falling to sleep in this room. You were not bound to the bed, nor did anything inside the room pose as a threat. Drowsy and confused, you sat up and positioned yourself on the foot of the bed, stretching your arms before standing on your feet. Beside the dresser was a mirror which had been drilled to the wall. Shifting your attention from the mirror and to the dresser, you realized that a blue hairbrush was lying on top of it. You grasped it, turning back to the mirror to brush out the tangles in your hair, your actions only to be cut short by a voice which seemed to be coming from a loudspeaker.
