I like to think my English is decent, but fucking hell, some things I never learn.
Every time I have to use either affect or effect, I have to go through the whole "a is for action" thing in my head.
I still have problems remembering which way he and she go, so I sometimes use they even when I know someone's gender so I won't mess up.
I still don't fucking know if it's analyse or analyze.
Same with theatre and theater and neighbour and neighbor.
The idioms! Spring of cunts, they're the worst. I'm supposed to say piece of cake instead of shit like easy sausage.
And now I've realised spring of cunts isn't a thing in English either.
IS IT REALISE OR REALIZE? RECOGNISE OR RECOGNIZE?
The fact that it's a rainbow and not a rainarc. Does that thing look like a fucking bow to you!?
English is still the least complicated language I know. Fml.
