The Whisper Game

Hey! My name is Ivan, and after a long time quietly working on it, I’ve finally released the first public version of my first attempt at a multiplayer game:

🕯️ The Whisper Game

It’s a social strategy / psychological deception game set inside a cursed medieval castle, where every player is secretly trying to complete their own hidden objective before the final round ends.

Some players want someone dead. Some are trying to protect someone. Some just want to survive.

And nobody can ever fully prove they’re telling the truth.

The main mechanic, and the reason the game is called The Whisper Game, is that players can spend limited Whisper Tokens to secretly message each other during discussion rounds.

The rest of the lobby can’t see the messages.

They can only see that you’re whispering.

Which means paranoia spreads very quickly.

One private conversation can completely destroy trust at the table.

The game has: 👑 hidden roles 🗝️ private whispers 🕯️ medieval horror atmosphere 🎭 social deduction and manipulation 🏆 crowns, titles, and profile progression ⚔️ role abilities like the King, Assassin, Knight, Spymaster, Jester, and more

Right now the game is focused on private lobbies while I continue building toward public matchmaking later on.

I’m honestly just excited to finally put this game out there after all the time I’ve spent building and polishing it from the time it was just a fun idea that came to mind after watching this one horror series that got me obsessed with Werewolf and all types of social deduction games.

Ramblings about a game I’ve been having way too much fun with

Ngl I’ve been playing WolfQuest: Anniversary Edition a but lately and I love it so much, it’s fun just being a creature living its life and having a family, and I’m a lil bitch bc I cried when my first pup and first playable wolf died (to which makes it so you can never use them again, bc they are…dead) I found a cheat to never lose pups and I love it bc I love my little pups they are so cute!!

And ngl, I was scared of the multiplayer mode bc the first three rounds I played were chaotic (either no order or the host just disconnects in the middle of it) and then I ended up hosting a couple rounds myself.

I have no idea why but every round is so much easier in these servers?? Like, we have no leader, bc as host I just always end up deciding what gets the most ‘votes’ and everyone agrees on it, or it makes it into two small groups that can do different things since it’s a pretty straight forward game.

Typically I’m the main ‘mother’ (idk but I ALWAYS end up with all the pup they like me I guess??) and I feed, protect, play with and raise the puppies. What’s funny is the other party is hunters, who are nearly never at the den but they come back to watch the pups while the nesters go to eat what was already hunted.

People fused over being a parent is boring but me and one other person always end up working together to protect the pups, and it’s plenty while the others (typically 2/3 wolves) would hunt, or mark the territory or scare off potential dangers to the pups.

Like idk why but I got hit with my autism really hard today and wanted to ramble, Ty for reading this ily and have a great day/night!!🖤🤍

I made a Breton Necromancer who just got turned into a Vampire. She’s a teenage adventurer who has an inclination toward magic. She’s always been into the occult and, growing up in High Rock, has heard plenty of stories about the rival vampire clans. Hoping to have a hand at becoming a powerful wizard, she sets off into the world, making use of her natural inclination toward Magika.

Psyche Amadeus is a rebel. Being that she’s a magically inclined human, she never really felt like she fit in. Instead of denying her nature, by conforming, she fully indulges in anything arcane. The young Necromancer knows Necromancy is against the law, but her disdain for the law will one day make her a powerful sorcerer. She may use her powers to impress girls, but that doesn’t mean she isn’t serious about becoming a powerful vampire necromancer.
