When the lil fellas all go to school would their teacher be an NPC character? Like princess loo?

Yea! The characters who are npcs in canon are given various roles in this au :3

Princess loo is actually Rags imaginary friend but someone who is a teacher is Martha Mildenhall (thinking of her being either Gangle or Rags teacher). I think Ming would also be a teacher and a bunch of the default mannequins too.

The Whisper Game

Hey! My name is Ivan, and after a long time quietly working on it, I’ve finally released the first public version of my first attempt at a multiplayer game:

🕯️ The Whisper Game

It’s a social strategy / psychological deception game set inside a cursed medieval castle, where every player is secretly trying to complete their own hidden objective before the final round ends.

Some players want someone dead. Some are trying to protect someone. Some just want to survive.

And nobody can ever fully prove they’re telling the truth.

The main mechanic, and the reason the game is called The Whisper Game, is that players can spend limited Whisper Tokens to secretly message each other during discussion rounds.

The rest of the lobby can’t see the messages.

They can only see that you’re whispering.

Which means paranoia spreads very quickly.

One private conversation can completely destroy trust at the table.

The game has: 👑 hidden roles 🗝️ private whispers 🕯️ medieval horror atmosphere 🎭 social deduction and manipulation 🏆 crowns, titles, and profile progression ⚔️ role abilities like the King, Assassin, Knight, Spymaster, Jester, and more

Right now the game is focused on private lobbies while I continue building toward public matchmaking later on.

I’m honestly just excited to finally put this game out there after all the time I’ve spent building and polishing it from the time it was just a fun idea that came to mind after watching this one horror series that got me obsessed with Werewolf and all types of social deduction games.

Fun character roles in X-Men Evolution:

Charles: The uncle/grandpa (sometimes dad, but not that often, therapist and psychiatrist when needed)

Ororo: Mom/aunt (sometimes she gets to be the older sister, but that's not all that often either, she will jump off a cliff for anyone and everyone, but doesn't expect anyone to do the same for her)

Logan: Dad/uncle (occasionally the oldest brother, sometimes with trouble causing tendencies, is reserved about jumping off a cliff for just anyone, but would fight everyone and everything including his traumatic past to the death for certain individuals, none more than Ororo and Laura.)

Scott: Oldest brother (the responsible one and the leader of the pack, he will take in anyone and train them to the best of his ability and do his best to be supportive where he needs it)

Jean: Oldest sister (often times redirects everyone, and acts as the conscience)

Anna Marie: Little sister (a shoulder to cry on, but will not hesitate to beat the crap out of anyone)

Kurt: Middle younger sibling (some responsibility, but mostly fun and enjoyment)

Kitty: Middle sibling (often gets put in situations and given responsibilities that she has to rise to the occasion for, and never disappoints)

Evan: Youngest brother (irresponsible, but thinks he can carry the world on his shoulders and should be given the rights to it)

Tintin of the day 2: movement

Movement is crucially important to correctly portraying The Adventures of Tintin. Like, it might very well be the defining feature. You can't stay still for even a second. I think Spielburg knew that, I think that's why everything is so fluid; why Snowy is always moving when Tintin is still, why there were no cuts whatsoever in the Bagghar chase scene, why the camera’s zoom can be distracting, why there are excessive round shots even though it's 3D animated. Metaphorically and literally, constantly in motion. Because if you're going to be Tintin, you have to always move forward. Every frame has to tell a story.

The difference between the comics and the movie is that the movie has to show you everything important in one go. It has to leave you with questions, but not in a bad way; they have to draw you further in. The movie's job is to keep you watching, and so, keep you intrigued. With a comic, you have to be taken there. You have to experience the things with the characters. That's why we see Tintin from behind but never the other characters, why Snowy really is the audience, why everyone is so open to interpretation: because you not only have to be there, you have to be each and every one of the characters.

Alright, so the comic shows you a moment in time. What does that leave for the movie? It shows you the characters. That's why Tintin is allowed anger, why the Captain is allowed to get things right, why Snowy is just an intelligent dog. The movies tell a story, and the comics promise you the story is yours.

Ten Trails of Babel: Character Roles

I was just thinking about what character roles some of the Twst characters would play in this au, so here it goes--

(This list will probably be updated as time goes on. This is just the confirmed roles the characters will be playing. Not to mention, some of this won't make sense unless you've actually played the Ten Trails of Babel game, for some of the characters, since I see them taking on certain roles.)

Jade/Floyd

So, in game, there is a character called Kruger. And he's who I see Jade/Floyd taking the place of. The first story that the MC plays is a story with doppleganers in it. You see yourself in a reflective surface, and your doppelganger will appear. Kruger absorbs his doppelganer (so they share one body), because his doppelganger is much more well-behaved than him, and he thought it would be easier to gain everyone's trust and stab them in the back later on if his doppelganger was fronting. The two fight for control after the reveal, constantly going back and forth. The character in game actually begins looking for a way to separate themselves later on.

I thought it would be perfect for Jade/Floyd to take the role of this character. Especially since the character is a shit-stirrer that kinda just likes to brew that pot, and is actually known for being a loner-character with the tendency to stab people in the back.

Cater

I see Cater taking the place of Victor. Victor is a character with the ability to gauge the probability of things going in his favor. How successful it would be for him, and is very shrewd in nature, even when he acts friendly at first. I can imagine Cater with the same ability and using it to his advantage in much the same way that Victor does.

Kalim

I see Kalim taking the place of Carrus. Carrus is a character with the "lucky dog" ability, which means he's always lucky and gets twice as many rewards as everyone else does from a scenario. Carrus is known for just jumping into things without thinking about it, and is mostly more than willing to interact with other species, something I think fits Kalim.

Ortho (Overblot Ortho)

(Let it be said, any interaction between the MC and Ortho would be platonic.) I see Ortho taking the place of Arlo. I don't mean the robot Ortho, I mean Idia's dead brother Ortho. Arlo is a spirit that actually runs one of the game's stories, and is the "final boss" in one of the scenarios. But he wants to actually be a participant in the game, and leave. So he makes a deal with the system to do just that.

Off Script | Character Roles

So, when I first thought of this Au, I was thinking of a Fantasy Au. Of course, if anyone likes the concept of the Au and wants to use it for a Modern Day Au, by all means. All I ask is that you tag me, because I want to read your work! ^^

Aside from that, before actually writing anything for the characters, I figured I would assign them roles in the fantasy setting.

I wrote this in a way that it can be read off as if it was a description for a route in an otome; Or at least attempted to do such.

Riddle Rosehearts -- The young heir to the Dukedom. He's always working to make sure the territory is thriving. He's said to be extraordinarily strict, and will fire anyone of his works that doesn't match his perfect standards. Wonder why that is?

Trey Clover -- He works at the popular bakery in the Dukedom that is revered by nobility. It is even said that he personally caters to the young heir's social parties. He seems relatively easygoing, but perhaps he has something to hide?

Cater Diamond -- He works at a local newspaper company, and as such, typically has all of the latest information available to the public! He has such a friendly personality, that most everyone knows him and is friends with him. Though, there are some rumors that he works for an information guide. So, maybe it isn't the best idea to trust him?

Deuce Spade -- A new guardsmen working at the Dukedom. He isn't the smartest, but he's got the spirit! And he's strength and abilities are no laughing matter. Some say that it's because he used to be a criminal back in his youth. But there's no way that can be the case with such an upstanding guardsman, right?

Ace Trappola -- He's the Baron's boyish second son. Seeing as he isn't the heir, he's known for goofing around and never taking anything seriously! More often than not, he can be found at the casino, gambling away. Though, it is said that he often disappears some nights to somewhere unknown. Even the maids working for him have no clue where he could be disappearing off to. Surely, it isn't anything illegal.

Leona Kingscholar -- He's a brutal pirate known for his cut throat declarations. He won't hesitate to sail over anything and anybody that get's in his way. Selfishly claiming everything as his own. It's rumored he's the second prince to some far off country, but surely that's just a rumor.

Ruggie Bucchi -- A well-known thief that has been seen interacting with the ruthless pirate Leona Kingscholar. He plunders from town to town, and for some reason that guards have never been able to catch him. It has never been found out why he steals so much, but it's assumed it's because of his greed.

Jack Howl -- An up and rising star on the Military's Navy. It's even said that he's gotten close to catching Leona Kingscholar! It's believed that the pirate got away due to Jack's gruff nature and unwillingness to work with others. That has to be the reason, right?

| Octavinelle |

Azul Ashengrotto -- An up and rising merchant that was rewarded the title of Viscount due to his contributions. He's been one of the only people that has managed to get supplies across the sea without interference from pirates. He seems to be an honest businessman. Aren't the people so blessed to have him on their side?

Jade Leech -- One of the Marquis's Leech twin sons. The one that is said to be the most likely heir. They deal with information. It is said that there isn't a thing that the Marquis Leech's do not know and will not find out. It is said that they prioritize honesty above all else. Surely, they aren't hiding anything themselves.

Floyd Leech -- One of the Marquis's Leech twin sons. He's known as being violent and getting into fights at taverns. However, the guards never seem to be able to find anything on him to arrest him. It's even said that he's taken up a job as a mercenary and goes off to fight feral monsters that have lost their humanity. Perhaps someone like that isn't completely bad.

| Scarabia |

Kalim Al-Asim -- He's the Duke Asim's oldest son. A family that is known for their trade all over the world and has even endorsed Viscount Ashengrotto's work. They're a friendly family that is known for helping those in need and throwing frequent parties. They seem a bit careless, but at least they're completely harmless.

Jamil Viper -- He's the loyal servant of Kalim. The Viper's have been serving the Asim's for generations. He's a butler that does anything and everything perfectly, but somehow still seems perfectly average. He's presence isn't typically noticed behind Kalim's.

| Pomefiore |

Vil Schoenheit -- Marquis Schoenheit is known for endorsing talent in the social industry. He's son and heir is just the same, and is frequently seen and places such as opera houses. He even has a booming business for perfumes and skin care products said to be made with magic. Such a business couldn't hide anything heinous, could it?

Rook Hunt -- One of the Count Hunt's many children. He was known for visiting opera houses and hunting animals, until he suddenly became the heir apparent Vil Schonheit's guard. Considering many merchants have said that Rook is an appreciater of beauty it is believed that is the reason why he took up the position of Vil's guard. Though, strange enough, for as open as the man is, there is a period of time where his actions aren't recorded.

Epel Felmier -- He's one of the people endorsed by the Schoenheit name, said to have a talent for singing. So much so, that he has become a rising stare at the opera that people have started calling a "beautiful canary". For some reason, he always looks a bit sad.

| Ignihyde |

Idia Shroud -- He comes from the Earl Shroud family that is known for producing magicians. Idia is even the owner of the Magic Tower! Though, he never seems to leave. He's said to always be obsessively working on something. Wonder why that is?

| Diasomnia |

Malleus Draconia -- The Crown Prince Malleus Draconia. Not much is known about him except for the fact that he's extremely powerful.

Lilia Vanrouge -- The Archduke, one of the closest aids the Majesty Empress Dowager has. He has an extremely youthful appearance and a playful personality. One of the nobilities that commoner's feel comfortable approaching. But it always feels as though he is hiding something.

Silver -- A commoner that doesn't even have a last name that somehow raised in the ranks to become one of the Crown Prince's personal guards. The Archduke Vanrouge seems to be especially fond of him.

Sebek Zigvolt -- The Baron Zigvolts have served as guards for the royal family for generations. And Sebek is no different, being the other personal guard of the Crown Prince. He's known to be loud and actively look down on others. But, he's also strangely earnest and helpful?

| RSA |

Neige Blanche -- A commoner that was granted the title of Baron because of his skills as an opera signer.

Che'nya -- A merchant that is frequently in and out of the Rosehearts Dukedom.

| NBC |

Rollo Flamm -- The young pope of the church. Known for being fair, righteous, and exceptionally hard working.

The fact that Shadow is introduced almost villainously and is then implemented into the main / protag six really feels kind of revolutionary to me.

I’m sure it’s been done before, but the guy’s literally introduced as looking like Kyu from Death Note, with a wicked cackle to match (I’ve never seen Death Note, can you tell?). And he even bests/beats our MC (Reki) less than, what? Five minutes in.

I just think it’s interesting—I’d never paid him much mind or found him enjoyable during my first watch for how he was introduced. Perhaps I should.
