I am Bad at Marketing Myself!
But: tomorrow, February 8 2026, I am going to do a Stream! From my heavily modded Vintage Story server. On Twitch! twitch.tv/secretfoxfire is the address!
The stream will take place at 20:00 Central European time; 19:00 UK; 2 PM US Eastern, 11 AM US Pacific. Hopefully everyone can calculate the time from one of those!
The server I've been running for 1.21 is what I'm calling "No Monsters, All Challenge." All monsters are disabled and predators like wolves and bears are set to passive (they will defend themselves, but not attack unprovoked). The challenge of this world is not trying not to be killed by other creatures, it's making progress and surviving the elements, especially the upcoming winter.
Days are 120 minutes long, and months are 60 days. We're approaching our first winter now, and no one is sure if we have enough food.
We have In Dappled Groves to make wood processing more difficult, Forager's Gamble hiding poison info in foods, Hydrate or Diedrate adding thirst, Craftable Cartography removing the map and coordinates until the relevant items are crafted, Butchering to make hunting much more complex, Art of Growing (+ Breeding) to make farming much more of a slow-paced challenge, and much more.
The server only has a handful of active players right now, and we could use some more! All patrons are invited to join starting at just $1 a month, and higher tiers can invite friends to join them. (And we have several players who aren't using their +1s right now, so there may be a chance for new people to join us even if they really can't afford $1 a month for a Patreon membership.)
