She and her brother run a tavern called the Golden Dragon in one of the human cities of their setting. While Althani usually takes the orders and runs the place, she's the one who cooks and takes care of most of the background work necessary. While being self sufficient, Atarauke often appears to be with her mind somewhere else or even absent. Still, this doesn't keep her much from doing her work or collecting some of the stories of the adventures frequenting their tavern.
I've never given him or his sister a proper design, so I'm going to remedy that.
Anyway, let's share some lore about him and his species.
Althani belongs to a race of "goat-people" called Cornu, who have separated into two fractions. He belongs to the main-land Cornu defined by their use of metal and gems in their the jewellery whereas the island Cornu just create jewellery with wood.
Over the centuries the Cornu from the island called Adcornu, have separated themselves from the other races of the setting and even look with disdain upon those Cornu originating from the mainland. While the Cornu from the mainland also keep the other races at a distance, they do trade and are much more open and welcoming. Still, they can be just as superstitious and distrustful as the Cornu from the island.
Althani and his sister Atarauke were born in a tribe deep within the forests of the mainland. Usually they wouldn't have left their tribe unless married into another but due to unlucky circumstances and an accident during which Atarauke had died but was revived. As the elders feared the involvement of a god they exiled her but since she had been just a child at that time Althani went with her to protect her. He was also fed up with the elders but that's longer story.
