☁ :Describe how they would spend a stormy, overcast/rainy day.
Preferably inside, maybe in the League training. I’m sure they have a training room in there, if not challenge against each other. I feel like he’d get restless on stormy days.
Overcast days are okay, though. He prefers bright, sunny days though. Overcast days make him wish for brighter/sunnier days.
⊗ :What is something that causes them to question themself?
hm. I’m not sure offhand, since I’ve never really explored this sort of thing for him. [It’s only recently that I’ve stopped treating him as an accessory character and started moving towards making him own, full character.] Not losing, but maybe. Seeing a lot of people misuse or abuse Pokemon kind of makes him wonder what the world’s coming to, but I guess that’s not really questioning himself! I’ll have to think about this a lot more!!! When I come up with something I’ll come back and edit this question!!!
Oh! I thought of something! Maybe that for the multiverse, he didn’t used to feel as powerful/strong as his then gf/now wife? I mean now he’s on about even ground, but iirc she’s still better with a sword than him (she taught him in the multiverse), and initially he was afraid that whenever she’d get involved against powerful entities, that he wouldn’t be able to save her, let alone help and protect her [back] against such magical foes?
However, once they came to the group of realms that are later known as the 3 kingdoms, they found that his Dragon Trainer merits wound up translating into an amazing skill and affinity with the dragons there, as well as easily picking up various skills typically associated with dragon knights and dragon riders in that realm [some magic skills, draconic language, etc]. So he’s a little less insecure or worrisome about his ability to help his wife in that verse now, and he feels more comfortable in his ability to fight alongside her and protect her back. :3 [instead of, just, not being able to do much except watch her back and hope that neither one of them gets speared through or whatever else.]
Of course, they’ve had discussions about this when they got to that point in the multiverse where it became a pressing/worrisome/recurring concern of theirs, since his Pokemon Trainer skills carried over only so much into the multiverse. Both of them knew it, but for him it was all “how will i help protect her [later fight alongside her, but there’s always that desire to protect one’s loved ones]”, and for her it was always along the lines of “he’s not from this world/life, how can I protect him since he can’t fight/defend in this world like I can?” Sometimes it still comes up, but not nearly as much since situating themselves into the Three Kingdoms realm(s), and his innate abilities finally translating over to something he could use if a magical fight/situation ever occurred.
sorry that’s coming out weaker than I had in my head. xD
۞:Are there any inner demons they can never seem to get rid of? What are they?
Ah… there is for the multiverse. An incident occurred that caused him to lose complete trust and faith in his wife, so while they have moved past that issue, he still fears that he might lose her, that she might break his heart and trust again, and that the effort being put into their marriage might become for not if anything of the sort should happen again. He’s never had this issue in any sort of conscious concern (the occasional passing thought of insecurity), so he’s struggling learning how to control this, and to trust her again. Because, he knows, she knows, they both know, that they can’t have complete trust in each other ever again, or at least he in her.
also i guess just. even though he’s a pacifist and comes off as very calm, if anything happens to those he cares about, or abuse towards pokemon, he won’t mind resorting to action/more violent actions. But he knows when action is more effective than words, so as much as he doesn’t like it [it’s even shown in the latest pokegen short! there’s a moment of pain at having to fight against TR, though I also think it had to do with him not wanting to hurt people! but i have no proof for that just headcanons |D], he can recognize when action is the more right course than inaction. But sometimes he can get a little overheated/overreactive when something’s threatening something personal/close/dear to him [ie pokemon, his family, etc], so it’s probably better if you let the sleeping dragon lie.
