The last week had been such a busy one. By busy I mean away from home. Today I’m off again with this one. Well actually I’m off to a book launch - the lovely @mamasignited book launch to be precise. I can’t wait to celebrate her achievement. And @pixelateddad aka chris is off exploring but we will meet up later for a cheeky @wagamama_uk s. It seems every time there is an event there is two or 3 which take me away from home in a row. Being adaptable to these micro seasons has been quite hard in the past. The transition from parent to me. Then back from just me to parent. It can be hard. You walk through the door and instead of snuggles and we’ve missed you’s it’s mummy can I…. mummy he said…. Mummy, mummy, mummy, But you know what helps? Knowing that you are their safe place. Knowing the radon they seem to save all of the shit up is because they know you have their back.
