I was always under the impression that when I became a mother that I’d be transformed in to a “MOM”. AKA a woman that can handle a grumpy baby, be a good wife, take care of dirty dishes and a full time job all without breaking a sweat. It’s only after the last year that I’ve realized that’s a unrealistic expectation. The pressure to be all the things your family needs can sometimes be overwhelming and that’s when I turn to nature and of course, to climbing. It has literally saved my life and made me a better person. I was recently asked by @mumsgoneclimbing to be part of an incredible project that highlights the adventure of being a mother in the sport and I can’t even express how relieved I was to see I’m part of a worldwide community of strong determined mothers. We got this ladies!! 🙌🏻 Cheers to the mothers raising the next generation of crushers.
