“Fairly often, but frankly its not a worry. Just tells me he’s doing his job, and doing it well no less. Ill admit i can get a little distracted at times.” A small smile crept onto the edge of Loons lips.

“Fairly often is right. He does his best to keep us on track,” Cassowary signed warily, “I don’t mind his reminders. I get caught up in my work very easily.  I appreciate getting to see him.”

The bird looked at you warily before answering, “Yes?  Sometimes I wear it in a ponytail... or a braid,” His sign for different hairstyles was lacking at best, but he was able to get his point across eventually.  Though, he may have had more important things on his mind.

“I don’t understand where a name like that would come from... do you maybe need a glass of water?”

Is Cassoway deaf or just mute? And when did he learn to sign?

“Just mute,” Thankfully for him.  He couldn’t imagine having to adjust to being both... It was likely a testiment to their doctor’s skill that he was still alive at all! “I started recently... The day I lost my voice was the day I joined Loon’s Family,”

He seemed torn for a moment, but offered you a small smile, “I will get better... with more practice I hope,”

❤ : What are your muse’s thoughts on love? If they are not in a relationship, do they believe that they will ever find a perfect someone for them?

"Love? You must mean red romance," Cassowary signed. "It is... difficult to have an opinion on such things in our line of work. It is for me at least,"

The bird thought for a moment before releasing a deep breath through his nose, "If I were to have a true flush, they would likely be someone from the family. I do not believe in 'true love' or 'destiny', but love of that nature can be cultivated mutually."

“Of course not,” he signed quickly, “You never have and never will see me blush.  Besides...”

He scowled at you with the use of such an embarrassing and foolish name.  “Where in the world did you come up with a name so silly? Disgusting.  Don’t call me that again.” the bird flipped his bangs out of his eyes, making sure to look away from you.  You would never see him blush.  Never at all.

Cass, you've got a pretty bad scar on one side of you. How did you get that? :c

“Yes... this,” He gently touched over the scarred flesh on his throa, “I wish I could blame it on working with the family,”

“This is from...” Cassowary paused.  Describing these things was hard enough to do in words, let alone with his hands, “It was the last gift from my old boss.  I disobeyed him, he hurt me... Robin saved my life, but I have this scar to remind me of those times.”
