I couldn’t believe Veronica Taylor was coming to a convention close to my home, so of course I had to go. When I entered her panel, I made sure me and my friend were close enough to see her share her lovely stories and answer questions for fans. It was amazing to see her in person instead of on twitter, and I was captivated by her kindness and friendly personality. When she saw me, I mouthed ‘hi’ and she smiled back and did the same! And during the panel, I asked her two questions: What was it like working with Sam, Michael, Gregory and Wayne and everyone, and who her favorite turtle was (She said Mikey, but she’s also partial to Donnie ‘cuz he’s April’s favorite. I did an impression of Mikey being offended by that for her and made her laugh, ah! ;w;) She said working with them was like being part of a family! And after, I gave her some fan art, and she hugged me, and once the panel was over, she hugged me AGAIN and thanked me and told me I was so talented. When I got to her booth for my autograph, I was told that I couldn’t take a picture with her (Which I was fine with!), but when it was my turn, she said ‘Oh it’s you! If it’s okay, I’d love to get a picture with you and your drawings!’. I was so lucky to get the chance to meet and talk to this wonderful, sweet, inspiring woman, and I hope we meet again!!

// As a person who’s lost friends here in the past, I can say it’s one of the worst feelings in the world. Either you had someone you really connected to and things went wrong along the way, or you just drifted apart for no reason. You wish you could’ve done something to save your friendship and you failed...It hangs over you. It hurts. I understand this now more than ever. But try not to let it consume you. Eventually it WILL get better. Maybe not right away, but it will.

So I want you guys to do me a favor: Treat your friends right. If you’ve got a great friend or RP partner, someone you can really confide into here, hold onto them tight. Hold REAL tight. But also give them room to breathe, too. Because just like you and me, they’re people. Just...Please be kind and understanding with each other. Communicate your feelings and try to see things from each other’s point of view. Be patient and compassionate.

That’s all I ask of anyone in the rpc.
