Hello! Yes! I am not dead! To be honest I decided to take a little break since I got out of college for the summer. Expect a little more activity in the future, and I’ll be drafting the threads that I owe soon.

Hiatus Notice
It’s not like I’ve been around much anyway, so I have decided to make this official. Recently I’ve been finding it hard to get motivation to write these days, especially since I started to lose interest in KC. It pains me to say it, but I’ll be putting Kongou on hold until further notice. If any of you need to come ask me any questions, or just to talk, you can find me at my personal blog @suzuka-gozen.
It was fun writing with everyone, and I appreciate the time you all spent putting up with me.
Cosplay Mania 2017
To be very honest I only decided to attend this convention the monday of the week it was going to be held. I really didn’t plan to attend this year but thanks to @rasennaro I impulsively decided to drag friends along and bought tickets so I could go merch shopping and get Sayo Yamamoto’s autograph! I was so pressured making a decision if I was going to buy the meet and greet ticket. I was so nervous what if I cause trouble because I had no idea what time it would start and my dad had to pick me up at a specific time. I was still mulling over it that morning of the con.
The con started around 11am but I was already lined up by 8am and the queue was so friggin long already. Heck when I just got out of the cab, there was someone who yelled “STEP ON ME VICTOR!!” and I was concerned what to do lol
. When I got inside, there was an even longer line to exchange the tickets for the entry straps. THEN BECAUSE I WAS PRESSURED TO MAKE THE DECISION BECAUSE A GIRL INVITED ME TO GO LINE UP WITH HER, I STOOD IN ANOTHER LINE FOR THE MEET AND GREET STUB FOR SAYO YAMAMOTO. That’s where I met new friends along the way. 4 TOTAL HOURS OF WAITING = New friends?? Seems plausible. @randomrissarush @zuzusexytiems
I found several YOI cosplayers and well-- most of them found me instead. I had to pause my shopping every once in a while so that other con goers can take a picture with me. AND I WAS SO HAPPY THEY WERE ALL SO NICE AND SO CUTE I JUST COULDN’T HELP THIS BUBBLY FEELS IN ME. We even exchanged instagram accounts so that we could still contact each other after the con.
I totally skipped lunch for this and at the YOI panel, I think I partly lost a bit of my voice screaming at the top of my lungs being up and close with Sayo Yamamoto. UNTIL THAT IS, I WAS FIRST IN LINE TO MEET AND GREET SAYO YAMAMOTO AND TO GET HER AUTOGRAPH OH GOSHAFHDFJAF
IT WAS SO WORTH IT.
The honor of being first in line and the moment I stepped in, she was like “Victor!” and I just instinctively said a line in the anime going “Hi! Victor Nikiforov desu. Kyou kara Yuuri no coach hajimaru yo.” [Hi, I’m Victor Nikiforov and starting today I’m going to be Yuuri’s coach!]
She was all smiles and giggles and I couldn’t help but etch the sight of her so happy to see Victor, the first one to meet her. And then when she handed over the autograph, I received it and thanked her in Russian.
“Spasibo!” we both said. And good lord was it so surreal and a dream come true.
4 hours of waiting? Risking to buy the ticket? Burning cash? HECK IT WAS WORTH IT.
Someone gave me the spook not too long ago
Just because I’m away for long periods of time doesn’t mean that my rules are to be ignored. Anyone who reblogs my roleplays other than the person I’m interacting with are blocked. No exceptions.
Where are you
I’ve just been pretty busy these past few weeks. You know, with real life stuff and all that jazz.
You know for being absent for so long I didn’t expect to get so much activity.
Looks like it’s time to dust off the cobwebs~ Maybe I’ll put out a starter call later.
