Y’know, I’ve always taken issues with the idea of 18 being considered the age of ‘legal’ adulthood. 

Admittedly, at least some of this is due to personal reasons--when I was a teenager getting closer to eighteen, I absolutely hated/was scared of becoming an adult something that admittedly hasn’t faded now, even though I’m almost 30 now.

But that aside, 18/19-year-olds being considered adults has just never made sense to me...they’re still in their teens, after all. And as time has passed and I see more and more how older adults in their 20s/30s, or even OLDER, pounce on young people the second they become legal...yeah. 

Call me a prude, but seeing creeps predatoring on people half their age, or counting down the days until they turn eighteen, and justifying it because ‘they’re legal now!’ just rubs me the wrong way.

Talking to people who STILL think Trump somehow isn’t so bad is just...exhausting and infuriating. Just- HOW MUCH MORE DOES HE HAVE TO DO? There are Nazi marches, Trumpcamps, shit is NOT getting better. And you’re STILL saying “well you can’t trust the media, there’s two sides to every coin and he’s still doing some good things.”

No. Any few good things he does are forfeit so long as he continues separating children from their parents and traumatizing them. He’s too far gone to be excused because he ‘does some good things’.

Dear Boomers...

So, let me see if I get this straight. 

You’re allowed to be sexist, make racist remarks, and just overall be rude and unpleasant because ‘things were different back in your day’. 

You’re allowed to call millennials, as well as Gen Zers, and basically everyone under 40 stupid, soft, entitled, and pretty much every insult under the sun. 

You’re allowed to blame us for everything wrong with the world, mock our habits, our trends, our interests, our hobbies, when all we’re trying to do is find a spark of joy and survive in the world you’re burning down (and blaming US for burning down at that).

But when we come up with one phrase against you it’s ‘the new N-word’ and ‘a form of ageism/discrimination’????

I love my friends, i really do, but why is everyone throwing emotional turmoil at me at the same time... I’m in the middle of an argument between too friends that refuse to speak proper to one another, another friend is being harassed for being friends with someone else, my ma is being her normal passive aggressive self because i have plans for a trip this year...

I think what frustrates me is that i go with it, i feel the need to try and help with their problems and its not good for me. But because i want them to be happy and enjoy their own lives, i don’t seem to care that its not good for me, ya know?

Just... Oof... i don’t mean to drop this on anyone here, i just wanted to vent a bit in a place i know the mentioned parties will never see cause theyre not my rp friends... if you made it this far, you get an E-cookie, and i love you very much. <3

the inked state form of modern was mainily inspired and based off of by the ink demon’s appearance before all 3 chapters got remastered, the berserker form is more akin to the current ink demon’s design in the game actually hence the spine for one
