Once upon a time in Carrotland Review
Once upon a time in Carrotland (My YouTube Autobiography Which I Definitely Wrote All Of) by Josh Carrott is a 110 page autobiography where he reflects on his life and YouTube career.
It's ghost writen by his best friend Ollie Kendal and other friends.
In this breathtaking debut, Josh Carrott peels back the curtain to reveal an epic saga of friendship, true love, and a prophecy that will change his life forever. Gird your loins and hold on tight for the unfiltered story of his fascinating and vitamin-A-infused life.
I rate this book 5/5 stars.
I've been following Josh and Ollie on both their KoreanEnglishman and Jolly channels for a while, so when they revealed this book I instantly bought it. I checked on amazon.co.uk (but it was sold out), on amazon.com (where they only accept creditcard and shipping was 20 dollars), then I rememebered seening the German flag in their availability list so I checked Amazon.de and it was available, 2 euros shipping and it would be at my house in a mere 2 days.
Over the followling 3 days I read the entire book and it was both very interesting and hilarious to read.
It was a weird mix of complete seriousness and magical realism.
It was filled with Dad jokes and weird sentences that somehow completely made sense. When reading it felt like a written manifestation of a Jolly episode which was entirely
The pictures added within the book added so much to the story even though they're black and white.
I enjoyed this greatly and I can't wait to see the message in Chapter 25 come true, as they' ll use the profit from this book to create a statue in Carrotland.
If you're familiar with these two youtubers, I would definitly recommend this autobiography.
