The party their at is a homecoming after party set before the show at someone who isn't Lizzy's house.
I decided why not, let's give Doll sensory issues! My headcanon is that she refuses to properly address it because she just wants it to go away. She really beats herself up over it because she's dedicated to killing V and any sign of weakness cannot be shown. Doll will literally wait till she's on the verge of a meltdown before taking any action to remove herself from an environment that's hurting her.
Lizzy knows about Doll's audio issues and is usually very accommodating being able to notice when it's bothering her and forcing her to take it easy.
Theres a lot of extra background characters I threw in: Braiden, Rebecca, Emily, and Uzi's on the couch<3
They're drinking coolant since that has become the md fandom equivalent of alcohol (don't ask me how drunk drones work).
Doll is subtly using her powers on Brayden's drink, its not very visible or clear that she did it.
I was debating on giving Braiden his head of fire or not and decided against it because it'd clash with the other rendering and would draw way to much attention to it.
A good week of work and I finally finished this thing! Took waaaay longer because I decided to fully color each background character and render the whole thing in the way I did. Ultimately, though, they were the right choices because I got to add several of the show's background characters who i hadn't drawn before, and hey, the multi color lights make it look pretty! Overall pretty happy with how everything turned out!
I thumbnailed out this comic a bit ago because I was feeling dizzy pilled and was partially inspired by my cool mutal @a-space-dragon's fic "here for a good time"! Its a short oneshot but has some time back at home I didn't feel like drawing out fully but it is very sweet and a bit tragic<3
