It gives me all the feels when in season 3 Amos starts to assert his POV.
Season 1 & 2 ⬆️
Amos acted purely on survival odds by killing Semi. Killing is his tool, to protect. By killing it ensures there is no longer a risk of danger. As he explained, not as a defense for his action, simply a fact.
He doesn’t kill on a whim. And he doesn’t enjoy it. It’s necessary for survival. It’s a reaction of protection.
Season 3 ⬆️
Amos didn’t outright kill Monica & the Cameraman. But, instead spaced them in the Ring. As he explained, he was VERY defensive:
I was being gentle!
and he apologized.

Amos has a clear opportunity to take Wei’s gun. His hand is very near it and she isn’t aware of this danger. He could kill her and free himself. But, he doesn’t do it.
