hi!!!!! any new mufinn or just murphy related headcanons you’ve thought about lately ?

hmmmm sadly I actually haven't thought about them much (ive been super into the umbrella academy lately 😅)

But I can definitely try to think of some stuff !!

Okay but big brain moment im in school so it's what came to my mind first soooo

Highschool mufinn.

Finn being aN ex-jock maybe??? Like he took a year and did football so he got Jersey's and jackets with his last name on it And Murphy reluctantly (okay he loves it but shh) wearing his named jacket or whatever instead of his dark jacket he normally wears

Literally they don't come out they just come to school holding hands and if anyone asks murphy just makes some sarcastic comment

some guy: "you two are... together? like gay?"

murphy, sarcastically: "no, no, we're just two bros that were just making out, definitely not gay"

finn: *laughs*

lots of weird half-studying half-cuddling sessions in Finns room where they start out studying but then they just somehow end up cuddling somehow ("no, no, finn im not the one who brought us over here you were" "murphy you literally pulled me by the jacket and forcefully kidnapped my body as your pillow")

Them going to the library (public or in-school whichever one) because Finn likes to read (ARGUE WITH THE WALL /lh) so he'll get a bunch of books

Murphy getting in trouble in class which results in suspension and finn coming to visit him after school every day, sometimes just to playfully scold him.

They're really cute okay

Murphy not being the best at school and beating himself up for it but Finn encourages him and tells him just to do the best he can

Just overall very sweet boyfriends

i'm bouncing the question back to you, use this question if you want to talk about any mufinn (finphy etc etc) headcanons you have or enjoy

okay this will not be at all as thought out as yours oh my gosh but here's some thoughts on them?

i just really like the idea of finn who doesnt like to fight dating murphy who does. finn who tries to talk murphy out of getting into fights just for murphy to get into them and Finn will have to pay h him up after (or take him to clarke).

its like... murphys trying to stop fighting as much because Finn wants him to, but sometimes it just happens. Finn KNOWS that murphy is trying to stop fighting, and because of that he tries to be as supportive as possible.

theyre both just protective of eachother. the only time murphy has seen Finn get into an actual fists out bleeding type of fight was because someone threatened to hurt murphy. murphy does the same for Finn, but for him it's a little less life changing when he throws a punch.

love the idea of them doing small things for eachother because their love languages are actions. finn getting murphy food, murphy opening the tent flap for him, etc.

just. im bad at this I don't think enough about them tbh but I want that to stop

S1 has so many Murphinn moments, I never realised before. 

I know they were just setting Finn up to be the good guy to Bellamy’s rougher approach but Finn stands up for and looks out for Murphy more than once, and now I'm annoyed because I thought it was just their scenes in S2 that made them a potentially great friendship/pairing and now I'm realising that it's like this epic that spanned two seasons and died before it could achieve its full potential.
