S1 has so many Murphinn moments, I never realised before. 

I know they were just setting Finn up to be the good guy to Bellamy’s rougher approach but Finn stands up for and looks out for Murphy more than once, and now I'm annoyed because I thought it was just their scenes in S2 that made them a potentially great friendship/pairing and now I'm realising that it's like this epic that spanned two seasons and died before it could achieve its full potential.

 Rewatching 2x05 and I've just realised that Murphy could have walked away at any time. He could have turned tail and run from the whole crapstorm that was building in the Grounder village, but he didn't.

Whether that's because he genuinely cared about Finn, or because Bellamy told him to watch Finn's back, Murphy is a freaking amazing friend who doesn't get enough credit.
