jim wouldn’t take it well. see james t. loves his friend alex alex is legit the only person that talks to him on a daily basis that tries to reach out and still help him, he is his only friend ( even if jim refuses to call him that ) and probably the only person jim cares about now that pike’s dead. he’d just spiral into an alcoholic death if alex died honestly, despite the ongoing alcoholism, alex is keeping it from getting any worse ( way to go alex ) so legit if alex dies, jim dies.
