Wade disliked the morning shift, but he needed the night off. He wasn’t in a very conversin’ mood and for some god awful reason Lemon had decided to do a brunch on the weekdays. He was sick and tired of tellin her this wasn’t fancies. People came here for the same ol’ grits, runny omelets and the greasy burgers. That’s it. But, he had to admit some of the cocktails she made for the brunch wasn’t so bad. He was too damn stubborn to give the ‘new’ dishes a try, but he liked the extra prices they were chargin’ for them though. As he finished polishing up one of the glasses, he looked up and saw Deputy Walsh come through. “Mornin’ Dep. What can I get ya?” One of the waitresses slid over the brunch special to Shane. Shrimp n’ grits, Steak n’ eggs, Chicken n’ Waffles, peach bellini, irish coffee, million dollar bloody mary. Wade rolled his eyes. “We got the normal stuff too.”
