“ cher ami, is not very polite to have such an unwelcome attitude towards to me. don’t make me act violent on you.”

Pale blue eyes ever fixated on his beautiful creation, completely enthralled by Louis. It had been a peaceful evening so far, a quick hunt for them and as promised Lestat hadn’t manipulated the human chosen and gave them a quick death. Now the pair of vampires were quietly sitting in the lounge of their most current hotel, pretending to drink and appear normal, Lestat’s mind was elsewhere. A mile deep in the gutter that was.
“Hm?” He hummed and sat a little straighter when Louis finally broke the silence. “Was thinking of you undressed, laying sprawled out on the bed.” Lestat answered bluntly, his shiteating grin unwavering on his expression. “Intimate thoughts aside, maybe we should go out and find another for dinner. You hardly drank at all from that woman, you must still be hungry Louis and we can’t have that.”
Mon Dieu, how deliciously alive he felt in this moment—heart hammering like a mortal’s, yet stronger, sharper, eternal. He tilted his head slightly, damp blond curls clinging to his temples and throat, a faint, wicked smile tugging at the corner of his blood-flecked mouth. One brow arched with elegant arrogance as he inhaled deeply, scenting fear, desire, and the unmistakable perfume of the night itself.
“Come now,” he murmured, voice velvet and venom, laced with that unmistakable French lilt. “Don’t be shy. I can hear your pulse racing… and I do so hate to be kept waiting.”

A cool winter night with a full moon was the perfect time to take a stroll. The centuries old vampire was enjoying just wandering the town he was visiting when the scent of blood caught his attention. Curiously the blond changed direction and headed to investigate. Keen senses then caught the sound of screams and chaos of people getting attacked by the undead. Not vampires, but much lower creatures deadites that were something like a zombie being possessed by a demon. Just gross rotting corpses that thought they had a sense of humor.
No need to stir the pot, he continued on his walk as a woman raced by in the opposite direction to get away from the foul creatures. More fighting was happening close by but the man fighting the deadites seemed like he knew what he was doing so there was no motion to intervene. Lestat thought that the other undead beings were smart enough not to mess with him but it seemed these deadites were particularly stupid.
Thinking that the blond was a far easier meal it stopped it’s pursuit of the woman to charge at him from behind, believing it had the advantage. But the vampire moved faster than the deadite could react, turning on his heal and grabbing it by the throat. The look of shock on the attacking creature’s face was priceless, along with a muttered oh fuck. In one swift motion Lestat tossed the deadite effortlessly right into a brick wall with enough force that left the wall cracked.
“Know your place, peasant!” Lestat snarled at the deadite and glaring the other undead being with harsh icy blue eyes. Seems like he was involved in this fight now.

A little food or drink on occasion did no harm, something to just enjoy the taste but it never satisfied their hunger. But to help with that Lestat kept some blood stored and had found an technique to mix it with Louis’ favorite tea so he could have that peppermint flavor and the tea keeping the blood nice and hot. But he had other things on his mind, which he made known.
“Rather it’s more like the lies you tell without saying a word. The ones you tell yourself in that pretty little head of yours.” Lestat said as he petted the other vampire’s hair with his free hand while he finished pouring their tea. Sitting down beside Louis he lifted the cup to his lips. It was nice to have a change of taste once in awhile. “I’m not as awful as you think. You enjoy my company, atleast when I’m on good behavior. I think you even love me but you just wont allow yourself to actually feel that, or you just refuse to accept the very thought.”
Seductive dance

How Louis complained was maddening. The man-child whined about everything under the moonlight. At times Lestat wanted to rip his own hair out and bang his head against the wall. But things weren’t all bad, by the time they perfected their non-lethal hunt the young vampire was less likely to complain since he was suffering from starvation.
Things became enjoyable once they found a place to settle for awhile, a nice hotel north of new orleans Lestat got them a large room for a month. They had their own space and they could enjoy the city. The blond wanted to take full advantage of the things they could do, so when he heard of a grand banquette Lestat wanted to take his companion dancing. He was not taking no for an answer and his mind was made up.
The two of them was confident in how they hunted now so they could part ways to feed on their own. It was a bit safer this way as 3 was a crowd and more likely someone might notice them. After Lestat fed he would acquire funds and fine clothing for Louis and himself.
The night of the party came, they suited up and went out to the upper class mansion crowded with people in beautiful garments. This was the lifestyle Lestat adored, how things should be for them. As expected they blended in well with the rich and other than some glances were pretty much ignored. Lestat pulled his companion to the dancefloor, a hand on Louis’ waist and took his hand to begin a traditional waltz.
It pulled a chuckle out of the older vampire how Louis tripped up as he had to remember the steps, not minding the few steps on his toes during the first song. By the second song they were moving smoothly on the dancefloor, circling around other people dancing. Lestat paid no attention to those around them, his eyes focused on Louis.
When a slow song began Lestat pulled the young vampire flush against his body as they swayed to the music. His eyes practically glowed in delight at how Louis avoided his gaze. “If you had a pulse I’m sure you’d have a bright red blush across your face.” Lestat whispered in amusement and closed the small space between his lips and Louis’ neck to place a soft kiss against the soft pale skin. He couldn’t help but reminisce the first time he drank from Louis, his blood was sweeter than anyone he had tasted in a century and was purely intoxicating. It was that bite he knew Louis had to be his.
“Look at me Louis.” He said in a low sensual tone. When Louis finally turned his gaze up to him Lestat claimed those perfect lips with his own in a passionate kiss.
