"You know, I'm very surprised to see you here so soon." Marcus sat back in his leather chair and looked over at Edgar sat on the other side of his desk. Crossing one leg over the other, he studied the other man for a few moments. "How can I help you, Edgar? What would you like to achieve from these sessions? Many people who come to me after their trials ask for help to adjust to their new normal, is that what you want?"
Marcus had a drink in his hand as he watched the trail going on on one of the screens scattered around the place, yep... this poor guy would need some therapy after this and Marcus would be there to provide if needed because the Wayne name meant credits and lots of them. He glanced to the side as someone joined him. "Barbaric isn't it?"
There's one way Marcus loved to relax and that was in Sin and Tonic. Walking in through the doors, he nodded at the people he saw in there regularly then headed up towards where the staircase was to take him up into the VIP area but the bouncer there stopped him. "New here? I know the owner, I'll get you fired if you don't let me through." Then he looked up at Maxie at the top of the stairs and shot him a smile, the bouncer finally letting him through. "Where on earth do you find these idiots?"
Marcus looked at the woman in front of him and raised an eyebrow slightly. "Was there something you wanted to talk to me about? You've been stood there saying nothing and you're the one who asked to meet." He checked his device for the time then pushed it back into his pocket.
After quite a brutal gym session, Marcus was resting up (and warming down) in a corner and rolled his shoulders, the stress of the last few months were getting to him thanks to what happened by having his secret out. He had noticed people were looking at him differently so when he spotted Giselle looking his way, he rolled his eyes.
"Why don't you mind your own business Giselle? You've already had your sat on this shit." There was a slight niggle of familiarity in the back of his mind which he chose to ignore.
"I already told you, I only ever used it in social situations, never at work and you can review the cameras footage if you really need to." Marcus was fed up of having to explain himself and the use of the Youth tonic over the years. "It's bullshit that I'm being painted as the bad guy here for it while others have done a lot worse."
Marcus had been doing everything in his power to avoid the wrath of Dorothy over the last few weeks, he was sitting his office when his assistant announced that a patient was here to see him. "I don't have anyone booked in." He responded, looking at his device as his assistant starting to tell the other person that she couldn't just barge i- never mind. Marcus looked up and saw Dorothy at his doorway. "Miss Maraschino, you look lovely today."
Having been turned centuries ago, Marcus has had many years of slaughter, sex and violence even once rumoured to have had a book written about him (it isn't true). He was once a magistrate in, what is now known as London, known to be tough and a fucking nightmare to cross as he showed no mercy to those who crossed his path.
He's been living in Hiraeth for quite a while now, under the guise that he's a well known, well respected member of the town council. Marcus keeps his past close to his chest but his enemies even closer.
