"Shikaaa~!" Naruto called out to him while holding a black forest cake for the two of them to share. Placing it down, he gave Shikamaru a kiss on the lips. "Happy Birthday~"
Shikamaru blinked at the sudden kiss and the sight of the cake, a faint smirk tugging at his lips despite himself.
“Troublesome… you didn’t have to go through all that, Naru,” he muttered, though his voice was softer than usual, warm even. He leaned in just a little, pressing his forehead against Naruto’s. “But thanks. I appreciate it. Especially the kiss.” His eyes flicked to the cake and back to Naruto.
“Guess celebrating with you isn’t such a drag after all.”
What to buy for a genius like Shikamaru? Luckily for Jiraiya it seems the lad’s past relationship wasn’t so… lovey. It was more just physical contact. Which is fine. It’s fun. But it has left its marks.
When Valentines finally came around Jiraiya did his best to show his lover a good time. Whenever Shikamaru walked through the door to his office he’ll find Jiraiya. A red tablecloth laid over the wood desk. Candles lit in the middle of it. Take out containers full of food they had on their first date with some non alcoholic wine to have with it, as he knew Shikamaru wouldn’t like to drink while on shift.
“And this is just lunch. I got a whole other thing planned for supper, my dear.” Jiraiya greets with a cheer of his glass.
Shikamaru blinked as he walked into his office to find his things reorganized. It was going to be a pain, but he'd forgive it on the basis of the man standing there, clearly responsible for this disaster.
"Hi...." Shika said as he walked over and put his arms around Jiraiya as he held him tightly. "I...love it. I didn't think you'd be coming out though, I figured you'd be busy whipping Naruto into shape." Shika said as he took the other glass and tinked it against Jiraiya's.
I hope this letter finds you well, wherever you may be. It has been far too long since we last saw each other, and the weight of your absence has grown heavier with each passing day. I write this letter with a heavy heart, filled with a mix of longing, worry, and a desperate plea.
I remember the days we spent together as members of Team 7, our lives intertwined with each mission, each battle, and each moment of camaraderie. You were like a tempest, Sasuke, carrying both darkness and light within you. Your determination, strength, and unwavering spirit left an indelible mark on my soul.
But somewhere along the way, the darkness consumed you, and you embarked on a path of vengeance, cutting ties with those who cared for you most. It pained me to witness the torment you carried, the burden you believed you had to bear alone. I know it was never my place to try and save you, but that doesn't mean I stopped caring.
Sasuke, I beg of you, come home. The village misses you, your friends miss you, and I miss you. There is a void in our lives that can only be filled by your presence. We have watched you from afar, as you embarked on a journey to redeem yourself, to find your own path of justice. And while we understand the darkness that drove you away, we believe in the goodness that resides within you.
Life in the village has changed since you left. We have faced new trials and tribulations, and we have emerged stronger as a united front. But your absence is a constant reminder of what we have lost. Your absence is a silent plea for your return.
Sasuke, I don't ask you to abandon your goals or forsake your principles. But I implore you to reconsider the path you have chosen. There is a place for you here, among friends who still believe in you, who still care for you. We long to see you find solace and redemption, not just for your own sake but for the sake of all those who have ever cared about you.
I understand that words alone may not be enough to convince you. But I promise you this, Sasuke—your journey doesn't have to be a solitary one. Let me walk by your side, supporting you, helping you shoulder the burdens that threaten to consume you. We can face the challenges together, as we did before, drawing strength from the bonds we once shared.
Sasuke, I beg of you, come home. Allow us the chance to heal the wounds that have scarred our hearts. Allow yourself the chance to find peace, not in solitude, but in the warmth of friendship and the embrace of a village that still believes in your potential for greatness.
Shikamaru hummed to himself, chasing a butterfly as he was on his way to deliver some papers to Jiraiya for the other to look at. It was just the sort of perfect mindless job that he thrived on, giving him time to think about other more important problems that Konoha was faced with.
Knocking on the door, he peered in to the tiny hut and made his way to the desk. “Some more papers for you Jiraiya-san.” Shikamaru called out, announcing his presence. After all, it was never a good idea to surprise any ninja.
(Hope this works and look forward to rp’ing with you!)
son (his nephew) over time and one day couldn't resist any longer. Since he was teaching a class at the Academy this week, it got worse and he finally gave in to his desires as he walked by Boruto’s desk. "Boru? Come find me after class today."
Naturally, this prompted a chorus of Ooooh’s, and Boruto’s in trouble... from the class.
"Mmmm. You can still go right? I don't mind burning a few minutes before breakfast." The Uchiha mused as he'd then turn to Shikamaru. "Come on. Stay a bit." He encourages.

Shikamaru smiled as he got back in bed, snuggling against the naked Uchiha. “Well…if you insist.” Shika smiled as he ran his hands along Sasuke’s abs. “How far we’ve come, not too long ago you’d draw me in and then get freaked out and we’d be apart again.” Shika observed. “I think you’re getting used to this my Sasuke.” Shika said as he gave Sas a soft kiss on the lips.
