She shows up later and the person's just like, well I realized that im not into sex and babies and stuff, can't you adopt an orphan kid or something? (optional: "they won't let a single person adopt a kid, so whoops we have to adopt them together") What if she claims the firstborn of a gay person who, later in life, choose to adopt a child with their partner rather than IVF or a surrogate (ensues the argument: this child is adopted; they are my first child by you wanted my firstBORN so no way this doesn't count) She claims the firstborn of a young woman. Later in life, this woman's child is stillborn. The witch decides to bring the baby back to life after seeing the distressed post-birth mother. When she offers to relinquish her claim on the child, the woman won't let her. "You've done me two favors. If I could just see him every once in a while... Let him know I love him, I didn't abandon him." the boy grows up knowing his mother and living with "aunty" witch.
