@muses0fgracie liked for a starter!
"Sheesh this place is so c-cold..." Kit hugged herself, quickly swapping through her clothing options until she landed on something more suitable to this planet's climate. She started walking through the colony until she could find any signs of life.
Kit didn't think she would encounter the hero or villain of this world right away, but hopefully she could find an NPC that could direct her to them.
[🌒] "Brusha, You know what happens when you don't sleep..."
Astro's voice was firm, yet not the least bit angered. If one ignores their sleep, he shall appear. Don't worry Dandy, he's go this.

Initially the rabbit was very much against trying to befriend the Nightmare Critters. But her leader, DogDay, was trying to get herself and the other Smiling Critters to at least be civil with them. Though talking to the literal black sheep of the group usually only guaranteed insults and a droning voice. But Hoppy had sighed to herself and decided to try it, if anything to help make DogDay happy.
As the two conversed a ways away from the jungle gym, Hoppy wound it easier to listen to Baba than days prior. Was it because she wasn't automatically being defensive like in the past? "No problem, fellow freak!" The rabbit girl laughs, giving Baba a playful nudge to her wooly arm. "So! While I'm here, what else 'ya got on your mind?"

Awhile had passed since their last mission. According to Kaboodle, this was another punishment for failing the last assignment. The accuracy of such statement was unknown to the magenta dinosaur, he wasn't there during that conversation, but he was beginning to understand the sentiment. Any time spent in HQ was safe, but left less to offer him.
They all talked to each other, helped get Flappers up to speed, and then Gobbles went back to his manual pad. There he heard the familiar chimes of his world. It also gave him something to keep busy.
Now, a part of him was almost excited for a new mission. Another recon assignment sent them to a portion of the galaxy rarely visited. A quick scan from the Nimble showed a game world with multiple locations all connected to a single area. That center is where they decided to go. A lack of any Syntax interference is all Gobbles could hope for.
Reading the title screen of "The Amazing Digital Circus" didn't tell them anything about who the hero was or what the win condition would be, so the group decided to split up and look around. Since they arrived in the dark, they assumed they would have more secrecy. But they were definitely wrong. Everything inside the circus tent was as bright and colorful as a playground (children's game, maybe?).
Well...he has a lot of ground to cover...
"OK, Gobbles...you can do this. No Syntax this time, only recon!" One final, deep breath was taken with his manual still in his hands. Maybe he should start by taking a few pictures?
... Ahhhh, if it isn't the child of the newly re-weds. ,,
Dimentio's hands clasp together with a devious, widening grin. The dimensional jester had snuck in behind the child, he had some plans for this one. Step one of his revenge of course, he was going to try to manipulate the young mind to trust him! And if he wouldn't...? Well, he had Floro Sprouts for that. He would make him do his bidding if he had to.
... It has been such a long time, Erebus. I have had a very long time to think over what has happened. It only strengthened Timpani and Blumiere's bond, what a charming story. Like a sweet written prose that has yet to hit the worlds ears. ,,
A gloved hand lifts to calm his grin, and his eyes scanned the younger boy's face to see just how his presence was fairing for him. Was he afraid? Confused? Angry? He would love a mix of all three. His fingers tap against his mask slowly as he waits a moment, humming in amusement.
... Well, let me not bore you. I am here because I am curious how you've been faring. We had so many good times, ahh so so many good times. Even when you were with the heroes, ahaha! What are you doing nowadays, hmm?~ ,,
He knew this encounter most likely wouldn't end well. A fight could break out, but he could easily overpower Erebus if he wanted. He wanted to give him a false sense of security for now though... as if he wouldn't attack him within a seconds notice.

Nox quiets the rest of his chuckles as the girl comes down from the scare. Watching her fluff up like a cat was pretty great... ahh, he remembers the first time he was scared like that. It was by his siblings when he was still just a Gastly. He'd been scared so bad, he had teleported right back into the daycare they had been haunting. Good times. He quietly wondered how they were doing. His clawed hand rests on his hip, ears twitching when the girl talks. Such a tiny voice, no wonder he couldn't hear her well earlier when he was haunting around. ... Ya know, not to be mean! But I don't think I've ever seen a Gengar wearing an outfit. Do you do those contests overseas or something? ,, He chuckles, waving a hand. He was only teasing, he'd met plenty of strange Pokemon out there. He figured it was just natural to have some quirky ghosts in the bunch... Honestly, the whole school was terribly haunted. It was curious to him, so many of these Pokemon were close to humans! He was too wary of how some trainers treated their Pokemon to be that close, even just kids... kids can be mean sometimes. But the energy of the other ghosts was what dragged him here. Other ghost Pokemon nearby meant the place was usually pretty safe, and they all seemed to get into their own hijinks. ... Oh, but nevermind that. I'm Nox! What's your name, kid? ,,

the factory's underground, it was treacherous, anyone with a semblance of consciousness knew that. filled with creatures who wouldn't hesitate to tear you limb from limb, but perhaps the most unlikely yet still dangerous component, was the many caverns and pitfalls which littered the ground. one small mistake, and you'd go tumbling to your demise.
yet even as footing is lost, the landing isn't hard. no it's... weirdly soft? perhaps even a little spongy? and before there's even time to register just what it was, there was a sigh. "oh thank goodness, that was so close! i'm glad i was in the area, or else, i'd hate to think what could've happened. are you okay? nothing broken?"
