PLAYLIST 03/04/16

I played some artists who performed at CRSSD music festival in San Diego. Since I am writing about this post the festival I just want to say that CRSSD was the best weekend of my life. I know that is quite the bold statement but it really was. I met so many great people, danced for hours and hours, and I got to see some of my favorite DJs on the planet. Top 3 performers at the festival? 1) Cirez D  2) Green Velvet 3) Maceo Plex. Regarding this playlist. Adult Jazz and Museum of Love are my music picks of the week. Mellow and a little worldy especially in the second half with those apathetic lyrics throughout. Pensive yet poppy, too. That psychedelic shoulder-slinking synthesizer solo near the end is just another great DFA moment from what hopefully evolves into another great DFA band. -Ian
