Swanatello my beloved <3 been meaning to draw Swannie for ages now the brainrot this ballerina caused me.. ok. unreal. Then again the inspirational @tangledinink made him so I am not surprised. Mended Holes

2025/01/01 (full view) Finally done. I started this one a while ago, took my time with it. Also all those different colours took a while to balance out. Like I said with when i uploaded the wip of this one it started as warm-up, just shapes, then Mushanga snuck in there, then the meaning shifted because the circles were empty holes first, a nod to my spotty memory from 2019-2023 as I can recall barley a years worth of memories in that timeframe counted together. And while I was working on it it shifted again, the holes became filled, because I am actually doing well, I have made peace with things that went down, leaving those holes empty seemed wrong in the end. And here we are. Some pieces still lost, but the holes filled with other things. Mended.

getting back into the swing of things. Had a bit of an exhausting time for a bit and mostly weaved bracelets to shut off my brain for a bit - they are very much pride related imma make some pics at some point when i am more awake. Anyway. I think this gonna maybe be the first picture in a series maybe. Have an idea for it, which is funny bc initially this drawing came about because I took reference fotos of myself while i was standing outside in my yard waiting for the just applied bleach in my hair to do it's thing. I was just vibing. But my default resting expression is bitchface and I really liked that in one foto specifically so it became an artwork. Mushanga is also just vibing, do not let his resting bitchface confuse you.

sensations and beats I tell ya. also figured I could split the colours a bit for this one because it fit the vibe and also is a good way to show which colours I've been mixing together for the violet. Both are a joy to work with because something about those Sailor inks is wildly different from my usual Herbin inks - they are undoubtedly fountain pen inks too, not drawing inks, but they behave different flow different maybe something about the pigmentation, I cannot adequately explain it but there is a huge difference on how they react (and interact) with water, each other, being reactivated in contrast to the other inks I primary use in my works. Which means I do have to get more of these. Anyway, those are Sailor Inks, Shikiori series - Yozakura (the red) and Zaza (the blue). Also amen for zaza I love zaza a lot of my recent works include Zaza. Zaza is my new best blue.

Movement V

Movement V - Vangelis • El Greco My sona Mushanga.

I opted for a simpler face-style for him, because it is more comfy to draw haha (in my reg style I do draw turtles with beaks and different kind of shells; more like body armor plates with leathery thick skin between for maximum movement and flexibility, 's just how I headcanon turtles in my stories)

But anyway for Mushange I played around a bit, opted for a simple face and went ham on the shell. I already had this concept in mind of putting glass or rather, inkwells on their back but I was not 100% sold on the idea, yet. And then I went on vacation to Venice last week and visited Murano there and can you tell I saw a lot of Murano glass and got inspired by all that glass and colours????? Anyway so yahhhh Mushangas scutes are made up of thick glass filled with inks. He paints with those. They sometimes change in colours depending on were his art takes him, default's turquoises, greens and blues in the middle as those are his fav colours to work with and the smaller ones on the side hold all the reds, oranges, yellows, violets and pinks. (and sometimes you will only find black and gold and silver and copper in there)

I have blue hair on one side of my head (other side is shaved) so blue headscarf it is for Mushanga. I will probably upload art with him on my main more often than not mainly because there is were the furry audience resides and keep this account fanwork related. I just figured I show Mushanga here at least once so you know what face to associate me with in the future XD (notice the changed icon)

this kinda tags into the last piece "lavender equilibrium" Mushanga [they/he] again, my homeboy, me irl aka my sona.

I have this ear noise going on, still waiting on my appointment to probably confirm a tinnitus and in January this kinda still got to me. It's not like it started in January it has been there for a while but it did not register as much before; it was like taking note of your own nose and then your brain phases it back out or something along those lines. But around January it occurred to me that this noise was not electrical buzzing or whatever I thought because it did not go away if I went outside and yadda yadda I became hyper aware of it, it was a bit exhausting, especially during work meetings because suddenly it had the same frequency as people talking to me through the headset and that made things a bit ehhh.

Now I am kinda more chill about the noises, I have a raining mushroom white noise thing dripping away most of the time and just wait on the visit with the doc. Maybe I get lucky and it is something else maybe the reason for it is just all that stress and it goes away again but for now my soundscape has some interference going on from the inside.

Lavender Brace

2024/01 (full view) So i guess I do some more because they don't take much energy and there is some catharsis going on which is nice. Sometimes do this thing, bracing against weird body sensations, arching the back, grab arms and stretch back instead of curling up - idk, feeling the pull is kinda soothing in a way, maybe it has something to do with the skin being pulled taunt feeling the edges of the body better? But either way, like this one, especially since it shows off better that 1. the shell is slightly see through and 2. that the shell is flexible. Mushanga arching his back will push some segments together, likewise, if they curve their back those segments would stretch out and elongate with the movement. Forbidden jelly.
