Mushiking (甲虫王者ムシキング) arcade machine, released by SEGA in 2003, big nostalgia, a remarkable part of my childhood memories.

so I got a mushiking recently bc i’m going feral waiting for the uni and it’s been a great time. love having a little bug guy to take care of very cute. I also am raising some digi bugs to keep him company.

So my bro just found this. Absolutely randomly, bc we love virtual pets irl and a big fan of bugs in general. When he was describing it he was talking about a beetle virtual pet, but the moment he showed it to me my eyes fucking crossed lmao.

So for those of you that recognize the buttons from Yakuza mini women's wrestling game MesuKing, this is the series that joke series came from, MushiKing. Had no idea they made virtual pets for it too.

And being that Y0 and K1 took place during the virtual pet craze, you better damn believe I'm adding this to Nishiki's inventory.
