The mycelium is flowering and the Vision Train Crew is coming above ground with a 24hr public event to celebrate the opening of the first virtual exhibition opening, Mushroom Magic. Most of the event will be streamed live to the Vision Train FB Page, Twitch and Website, with talks by special guests, presentations, demo’s, recipe exchange, games, live painting and more. . The Exhibition will be viewable online from Aug. 29 - Oct. 1. . Featured artists are all Vision Train riders, with many of the works in the show initiated on the 2 month anniversary of the Non-Stop Vision Train Global Art Jam. I'm doing a mushroom challenge - I'll read and learn about one mushroom a day, till august/september. In the autumn I must be a real forager

Yesterday's mushroom was Golden Bootleg (Phaeolepiota aurea), a small mushroom, rare to most European countries. It was recognized as edible, but now the scientists discovered some toxic substances in it, and the research is still on so now it shouldn't be eaten.

Its cap's shape and colour changes with time, and it can dirty your hands with tiny 'grains' on it.

Its flesh is white/yellowish-white but after cutting it gets very intensive yellow shade.
