The mycelium is flowering and the Vision Train Crew is coming above ground with a 24hr public event to celebrate the opening of the first virtual exhibition opening, Mushroom Magic. Most of the event will be streamed live to the Vision Train FB Page, Twitch and Website, with talks by special guests, presentations, demo’s, recipe exchange, games, live painting and more. . The Exhibition will be viewable online from Aug. 29 - Oct. 1. . Featured artists are all Vision Train riders, with many of the works in the show initiated on the 2 month anniversary of the Non-Stop Vision Train Global Art Jam. Mushroom Bloom 2020 is one of the first paintings I started working on during the early days of the Non-Stop Vision Train Global Art Jam. The Corona Virus appeared in the middle and mushrooms started to sprout out of it one by one until there was a bloom of color representing the renaissance of vision within humanity that would blossom out of this time of the great global pandemic of 2020. 
 Each one of these mushrooms represents one of us as unique blossoms of a mycelial network powerful enough to bring healing and balance if we slow down enough to listen. It is through the full expression of our beauty and originality that we find peace. The foundation of this piece began in the opening circle of the 2019 Mixtek Mystics painting intensive that Joe Bob Merritt and I led at the @chapelofsacredmirrors , NY in October 2019. As an exercise in spontaneity, creation and destruction, all 21 of us spent 2 minutes drawing on each others panels as we passed them around. We didn’t get to complete our live painting at @envisionfestival and look forward to completing it in the studio. It’s a big piece... in size and story. Feeling the paradox of our times, of all the great visions for the future and the reality of the transition. . Gratitude for everyone that helped create the Envision experience and we look forward to seeing the ripples of that great convergence unfold🦋 . It’s never to late to get on board the Peace Train🎉🦋🌈 I’ll be conducting Trip 4 today on the @visiontrain and would love to invite any new & experienced Train riders to jump on anytime between 6pm -12 midnight MDT for some good art jam time and conversation. I plan to stream in a local radio show from 6-8pm by Dan Baynes on @kbutradio called Turtle Island... this show focuses on Native American music. . To gain access to the Non-Stop Vision Train Global Art Jam you need to be an artist (we all are so just own it and pick up a pencil or brush!) It’s free and has been going non-stop for over 3 months already💫First step is to be accepted to the FB group (must answer all questions sincerely) where you’ll then find the link to our Zoom Studio and schedule in the first announcement💫 The Vision Train is fueled by an epic crew of conductors from all over the world all donating their time to keep the Train on the tracks and the vision expanding🚂❤️ . I started this painting a year and a half ago in Costa Rica... it’s fitting now more than ever if you check out the detail on the bottom... the Train is passing through the cities and the people are on the streets marching ready for change. This wave has been building up for a long time and it’s finally here 🙌🏾🙌🏼🌈💫 As artists we have a role to play in amplifying the voice of the people, in painting the signposts of the future... Do you see a dystopian future of a more insane police state or one where we celebrate the beauty of diversity and recognize our collective rights as living beings no matter the color of our skin, gender orientation or what gods we believe in. It is all possible and I will keep painting a vision of hope in all the ways I can as well as doing my part in listening and learning and extracting engrained unconscious patterns so I can also help others de-program.
