I’m back! (and totally an adult now)
So hey! It’s me!
I’ve been away, mainly because I wasn’t really doing much studenting (but still doing plenty of musicking. Always) and my feeble attempts at taking online courses were thwarted by being incredibly busy and having to prioritise due to long term illnesses (yay)
But!
I’m now basically doing a version of my dream job! Admittedly, it’s a version where I spend more time travelling to work than I do working and don’t earn very much or have much predictability/stability in my work. But it’s a start. And I’m super excited! And I want to figure things out as part of a community and share my strategies for managing all the stuff and get some ideas and everything. So yeah. I’m back! Hi again!
(also for those who want to know so for the past year I’ve been singing in a professional choir and occasionally working as a support worker with children and young adults with disabilities. From tomorrow, I’m going to be a peripatetic instrumental teacher working in a number of local schools. I’m also continuing on with the choir and taking on the role of choir librarian. On top of that I do a fair bit of volunteering including helping conduct a community choir.)
