blogging while listening to post-modern music.
the life of a multi-tasking, procrastinating music student.
this music is so distressing and sad. why can't i write my music history final on lovely christmas carols?
for those of you who don't know what post-modern music sounds like...it's basically music that you would put to strange silent foreign films in black and white.
this will all be over on wednesday evening. thank god.
Today in my Piano class (it's a beginners piano class at university), we got a new book meant for children. I felt condescended to, but then I realized that I didn't have the skill level to play half of the stuff in the book.
Damn my parents for never putting me in piano lessons!
Remember that time I was a bass-baritone?
Then my new voice teacher was all, "Lol no. You're a regular barione."?
Then he changed his mind about 18 times between bari, bass-bari, high bari, and even tenor once?
Good times...
Finals week
Finally here. Finally stressed to no end.
The only thing I'm superbly worried about is styles on Wednesday. Oh God Musical Styles...the devils class with such an awesome teacher.
Jury tomorrow, hearing in 2 hours. weeeee!
I should probably practice...
I don't practice near as much as I should...
I love Opera, but I frequently wish I was legit a belting king.
I wish I could just spent my days and nights singing sassy black soul. It's such a good stess-release! River Deep, Mountain High is probably my favourite. Even just modern MT written for belters like Idina Menzel. Me gusta.
Jack problems:
I have only $8.48 left on my iTunes account. I want to buy: At least 1 CD (out of 4) by Ministry of Magic- $9.99 At least 1 CD (out of 2) by Chameleon Circuit- $9.99 Cher's CD, Believe- $9.99 A recording of Nozze di Figaro, and Don Giovanni- At least $20 Therefore, I have to buy another iTunes Card or two, because I don't like downloading (especially for smaller music groups like MoM and CC), and decide what to do with my current money.
