Hey Bella, You may be asking what’s the big deal with mustard fields, apart from its beauty and amazingly vibrant photos. . . . Un poquito acerca de esta belleza... Mustard fields typically bloom in March in #napavalley and in #Sonoma It occurs around “bud break” season . . . Ummm 🤔 what is #budbreak ? Tranquis que para allá voy. Bud break is when the grape starts it’s growth cycle for that season. When bud break occurs the glowing yellow mustard flowers are turned into mulch. Apart from its Belleza, these mustard fields play an important part in #napa. These #mustardplants have nutrients which are key to the growth of the soil to produce those exquisite grape 🍇 plants that will eventually be turn into our delicious #wine . ¿Que tal? I think this deserves a blog post to elaborate more why I love to see our valley field with yellow mustard fields. Plus yellow gives us hope, faith and happiness, which we all need now.
